Hello all, and Merry Christmas!!

I just got back from Calgary and it was 4 degrees below zero. Yikes.
It sure makes me appreciate what we have here in AZ. I'll take 118 over -4 any day.

Hey, I'm off till next year. so if anyone wants to do any riding the next 6 days I'm in.

Cheers.
Darin

We are on an adventure tomorrow...

We will be GEOCACHING tomorrow if anyone wants to tag along. If you dont know what it is check out www.geocaching.com . My plan (which may not be Robins plan) is to plant a (DS) cache ourselves somewhere along Seven Springs Road. We will test a few "finds" out localy near our Sunday meeting place to test it out first. PM me if you want to go with your phone number and I will call to let you know where we will be. Will be staying mostly northern phoenix area (Cave Creek, Seven Springs area). We plan to leave somewhere around 10am(ish) from Bell and Tatum vacinity. If you already have my cell phone number, call me direct.

Well we did the GeoCach, Blue Streak went with us, prior to heading out though the battery on Kuulei's bike died and I did not have a fully charged one stiing around, so we ended up taking the Suburban. We found (actually Blue Streak) found the only two of five Caches that we had picked out to find, but it was fun looking. BTW Blue Streak, I think the one at Evil might have something to do with the piece of PVC pipe that was stuck in the ground by the transformer, and Penguin is under the road in the drainage ditch, but I guess we will find out on a second visit.

So BlueStreak, Makakoa85032, and Chicks4KLRs went GEOCACHING for shits and giggles. We had 5 to locate. Found 2 out of 5 (the last 2); mainly by BlueStreak. Pure luck?...I dont think so.

ABOVE: This is the second of 5 we looked for. We were all over that mountain.

ABOVE: BlueStreak and Makakoa85032 locating the next on the list and our first find.

ABOVE: Bluestreak finds it with NO PROBLEMO. His luck streak is H*O*T

ABOVE: While searching for this one, we came up to bones (spine and hips) attached. Thats BlueStreaks shoe. Wierd finds on these hunts.

ABOVE: He finds the LAST one, after Chicks4KLRs combed that area good too. BlueStreak should have been on CSI

ABOVE: Bluestreak, Makakoa85032, and Chick4KLRs doing something "out of the box" on a Saturday afternoon.

NOTE: This was supposed to be done on DS' out near Seven Springs where we were going to plant our own cache. However, my battery died and we had to take the Burban (cage). Then, my phone battery dies (could it be a sign)? After that, the batteries on my camera died. NOW, I KNOW this is a sign. Thank the dirt Gods I didnt ride or who knows what would have happened. I can take a hint.... All in all, we had lunch, found some GEOCACHES and had a good time. Thanks to Darin who found both of the only two we found today. Its deffinately somthing that could be really fun to do on DS's off road. Try it, you might like it....L
