, not my bike though , i was busting some wheelies on that agressive modified XR650R , that Sucker can pop a wheelie from z 4th gear with no clutch , pop z first one no problem , second wheelie was even better & i shift it from 2nd to 3rd & i was going . The 3rd one i ate it , it felt like it was taking gas even when i shut z throttle down from z 2nd gear , and i tried to pedal z rear breaks but z lever was too low , so i started to get ready for z fall . I wasn't hurt at all just a small rd rash on my elbow and matching one on my right butt cheek , i guess my protective gear did their job and oh yeah i made a hole in my nice yellow pants DAM IT , i lifted z bike up and inspected it for any damage , amazingly z only this damage was z foot pedal was bent a little (rear break) . So with help from our chase truck -Robin- we were able to bent it back and continue our off-rd journey for z next 20 mi. . R.R. coming soon . |

Reply to Eddy:
Wow! Glad you are ok. Whos bike was it? Are you serious about a wheelie from fourth gear with no clutch? Was it geared really low? It sounds like that xr might be able to "smoke" a certain 500 cc bike out there. Thats good because certain 500cc bikes need to be put in there place, because they are getting way to big for their britches!( I jest! I jest!)
Anyway, glad you are ok. You must have been pushing it a little if you fell so I give you props for that. I have never tried shifting while wheelieing, you are hardcore. I only hope someone got A picture of you flying off the back of that Mighty XRR!!!

This bike is tricked out well, it have baja carb kit , gearing was way low almost 50t in back and 14T front . It output so much power for a light bike. Pics. will be posted soon it's just takes too long to download them on Photobucket because there so many . |

Hey Eddy I have your bike & trailer I hope you will be at the shop until at least 5:15 pm not 4:30. Thanks it was a great weekend with great people. In Eddy's defense, the bike dripped gas out of the vent tube all the time, I think the floats are off and it's constantly feeding even with the throttle closed, but that bike does haul ass and Eddy did ride numerous wheelies on it.

XR Defense
I have to admit the bike is mine. I agree with Robin that the floats might be a set little high because it does want to drip a little gas when it isn't perfectly straight up. I'm going to adjust the floats tonight drop the float height 1-2mm. It has a HRC power up kit, XR's Only smog deleat, UNI filter and aftermarket front rim but every thing else is stock even the gearing. i didnt think it had enough power and am going to raise the compression and put a stage 2 cam in it

Robin, thanks for the invite. It was great getting to ride with you guys. I'm going to try and get over to AZ for a few rides as soon as the race season is over.
In Eddie's defense the state of California should be sued for builing the asphault so close to Eddie's pretty yellow pants. Or maybe the XR was offended buy the color and was trying to get some Honda Red on those pants. LOL

Sounds like a simple case of a Suzuki rider getting bucked off a Honda again. There's a pretty good deal on Craigs list right now here local on an XR in great shape. Hmmm
