Thanks for the thoughts.....

Ice Man Redd will prepare pics of his 4 Peaks fall down. Nothing major.
Lots of people on the 4 peaks trail so always a safe ride.
I am also off till Jan so mid week rides are good. Looking for fun, not DOA style rides.

see you on Dec 28 at BucksStar Coffee.

I'm sitting in Las Vegas wondering which way to go.

Do I come over to Phoenix for a Monday Tuesday ride?
Or do I go towards Mojave Barstow?

Is anybody over in Phoenix area available for a ride Monday and/or Tuesday?

Here's my ride report I started for this trip

PM me if you want to go with your phone number and I will call to let you know where we will be. Will be staying mostly northern phoenix area (Cave Creek, Seven Springs area). We plan to leave somewhere around 10am(ish) from Bell and Tatum vacinity. If you already have my cell phone number, call me direct.
Wish I had seen this post. My daughter and I have been Geocaching for quite a while. We are "Team Squidney" on the Geocache website but haven't participated at the site in a long time. When we go hiking we always check to see if there are caches in the area to add a little more fun to the hike.

We had a great time and thanks to BlueStreak we found 2 of the 5. I want to go hide one off road and find a few as well. I think it would be a fun thing to do with a group of DSers. Its something we will deffinately do. Hope to see you soon ....

geocaching ideas

I noticed a while ago there was some northern California DS'ers that had combined riding with geocaching hunts. One person would hide the object then post a hint on advrider.com. The other CA DS'ers would try to be the first one to find it and then hide it again, with said finder posting new hints. They seemed to have this going for quite awhile but I don't know if they are still doing it. Just an idea for down here FWIW.

Sounds like a good idea if we get some participation, we discussed Geocaching at the meeting today and we had some good responses.

Zama - FANTASTIC idea. Thank you for the info. I think I may plan some kind of geocaching game for DSers and may be able to come up with some good prizes with the help of my vendors. I will post when and where...Thanks again

Club Logo....

Please collect the ideas for logo and the theme input.
Put into WORD doc and send to my email
I will route it to my ad agency and we will get a very hip, NYC ad agency logo.

Think AZ, Dual, freedom, EDDY(unique), sunset, and dirt...

Thanks

Tom

I am worth at least $9 in creative ad and logo work.
We will also get taglines back from the agency...
"dusting freedom"
"dual with a purpose"
"donut ready and dual"
etc

I have one already that DirtyDog did that I really like. I showed it at the meeting on Sunday. You might have been inside Starbucks when I showed it. However, something from a NY ad agency might not be to bad either. Lets take a look.

for ur request Chick4KLRs .

this is more pics. for u , i am sorry for those who think it's off the DS subject . I went skiin' yesterday and got some nice pix on z montain .
i was 5 miles away from Flagstaff a lots of snow
when in Flagstaff it was 12 deg. ~ 7:45am

The mountain in question ( Snowbowl ) & i'll be there in no time

On z top of z mountain ~ 11950 ft high of the Agaziss lift 9:18am

Blackjack is one of my favorite black diamond run with some assorted moguls on but it was too early to hit it because z sun haven't shine on it & it still icy so it's kind of suicide mission to do it so early
the sun started to hit it around 10ish but it still hard snow so did came back for it ~ 1:00pm
the line on z chairlift was gettin' longer & it's gettin' hotter as well .

and i finished my day by hittin' some moguls and left ~ 3:00pm because the wait on z chairlift is gettin' unbearable & my legs started to hurt from standin' in line instead of hitting the bumps

u can see in that pic. the Blackjack run on z top left , it's pretty steep .
