Much appreciated.
I too was looking for the decoder ring for this ride. Here is what I think Eddie is planning but i am still waiting for confirmation:

Easy

---------------------------------------

Advanced

---------------------------------------

I am planning to attend this ride but will have to ride the easy route this time as I still don't have my skidplate on my strom yet

Sorry Guys:
That link on post #625 ( previous page ) got mess up some how this is it :
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&sour...,0.073986&z=13http:// here

All riders take off from point A . Advance ride ( group A) turns right on Crown king rd (before point E on Castle hot spring ) move to point B and all z way to Buckhorn Ranch rd , and end up in Wickenburg .
Group B ( easy riders) will keep on Castle Hot spring all z way to Wickenburg
Hers z link for group B only http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&sour...,0.315857&z=12http:// here
The way back for all would be on Castle hot spring and back to point A .

We will try again in another month when the water is lower and my tires are newer. Instead we spent some time practicing in deep gravel and deep sand. It was a great learning experience for me. I am indebted to AleThor for his instruction.

I am glad you showed such restraint, swift water rescue's are dangerous, especially when it is so deep and fast moving....

Actually my avatar is from that same ride I did on Castle Hotsprings in 2007.

Anyway, I am in. That is a fun ride easy ride. We are thinking we might go 2up or have Karla bring her Spyder if she gets the day off.

I was just looking at the "A-group" ride and then started playing with alternate routes. I came up with this: Route. But I don't know much about the terrain between C, D & E/F. Maybe a scouting mission is in order one weekend.

I should be in for the ride on the 8th.

I am glad u gonna make it , accordin' to ur map i did Wagoner rd twice last springwe started from Kirkland jct. from point C to D ( in ur route ) it can be o.k. rd condition in that area changes radically from one week to another . Never done it to Stanton/Octave .
After reachin' Wickenburg for lunch ( Sunday's ride) ,if weather & time allows i might take off to Bagdad on a reconnaissance ride to check on Campwood rd , it's a prep. for z next ride , anyone is welcome to join me .

I might be good for the trip toward Bagdad. I've ridden near Camp Wood before. It's a fun area. Are you going to take dirt or hwy to Bagdad? More dirt = good!

No way I could go anywhere near SR97 on the BMW. That's my favorite road in the whole state of Arizona on the ST1300. Tight off camber turns with elevation changes. It's like a part of Laguna Seca Raceway was copied to our own backyard. I know I just wouldn't be able to resist myself. Plus if i'm going to drive all the way out there . . . Gotta do it on the bike that loves the twisties

Never went to Bagdad before last year we postpone 2 rides towards that area , but z faster way to get there is to keep on 93 & turn right on Bagdad exit otherwise if u take z 89 to Yarnell ...etc... we will be ridin' a extra 20 miles - from Wickenburg to Bagdad on 93 it's 60 miles , we can always hit Campwood rd to Williamson it's 47 miles off-rd , like i said dependin' on z weather and time we have in hand ...

I am in.

Although I'll probably leave everyone when we get to Wickenburg, to go visit a friend.
