Hola,
I'll be riding my Transalp to Zion for a unofficial ADV ride on Labor Day weekend....just wanted to see if anyone wants to pony up and ride up. They have a great weekend planned, camping with showers, Lake Powell swimming and lots of long dirt / street routes from locals that know the routes. I'll be leaving Friday late night (maybe camp in Flag) or Saturday EARLY am and just wander on up. If anyone is interested let me know we can work details /schedules from there....c'mon, lets go straighten out some of those turns!

How's it going people?

One nice part of my job is that it allows me to see some awesome cities across the US and make them my second home for 5 weeks at a time.

Now that Phoenix is my second home (well the residence inn is...), I'd like to check out the area. I called extreme az and they have some pretty good prices for full day rentals on their 250's and 450. Unfortunately, I dont have a truck or trailer, and that additional rental cost with them makes the whole thing a little less attractive (especially for the weekend). If those bikes were street legal, I'd be all over renting them for the weekend or more.

So I have 3 questions:

1. Any other places to rent street legal bikes (not cruisers)?

2. Is anyone doing a trailer and ride this weekend that I could join? You could pick me up and I can chip in for gas...

3. Does anyone have a dualsport I can rent from them? I tried doing this in San Francisco and didn't have much luck (ended up using my rental car to some sightseeing/exploring)

Any help would be awesome. Thanks.

Ride report from this weekend

Here's the link to my ride report from this past weekend.

http://advrider.com/forums/showthrea...2#post16741622

Many thanks to seabee1 for letting me use his bike. This was hands down one of the most satisfying weekends I have had on two wheels.

I'm hoping to maybe find another inmate in the Phoenix area that has a spare bike I could use for another weekend. After talking with seabee1, it sounds like Pork Fest is the ride to go on. If anyone can help me out, please shoot me a PM.
