One could then go their perspective area for the planned rides, rallys, meetings or meetups & keep the rest of the thread open for the west banter, ride reports & videos.

I think if they departmentalized it by state then people would miss rides in other states that might be a good ride for them. We fall into habits of looking only certain places and would fall into a "rut" so to speak. I personally don't have a problem with it the way it is. Whether Tucson has a sticky or not would only mean looking farther down the page sometimes. I think the best thing to do is get out and ride! Then the only worry is how sticky your tires are in the dirt.

Nope

Still looking & saving penny's. I keep hoping that that she will shrink some after each washing but no luck on that yet.

She has a few more chances to act right , she has about ever bobble to make her sexy and all but still has a mind of her own. Guess thats what happens with all spoiled high maintenance super models.

But thats all right cause I got a hole card.

Got the FOR SALE ad all made up & ready for next time she bites me, then off she goes .

It took me a minute but I had to dig up this old post.

We went out yesterday for a bit. He was very adamant about going up hills. That's all he talked about during the week and as we were pulling into the lot where we go riding, he was very excited as he saw them ahead. We did a couple little loops around some new terrain and then we headed up a hill. Started out slow but then it got a lot gnarlier than I expected. I looked in the mirror and saw him struggling but there was no easy way for me to turn around so I gunned it up the hill to turn back around. As soon as I did I looked down and he was down. Hit some rocks but was ok.

Still a little bit rattled I decided to ride his bike down the hill some so he could take off on more level ground. I guess he was still not into it mentally when he got back on the bike so when he shifted it into gear he took off pretty hard and then jerked the bike into 2nd wot. The bike wheelied and he was down again. This time harder than the first.

He layed down and started to cry. So we took a break there for a bit. He was startled but frustrated more than anything because he just sat there with rocks in his hands throwing them down the hill. Once he was more settled down I told him that it just wasn't our day today and that we should head back to the truck.

As we were eating lunch afterward I told him I was proud of him and that it was a tough hill and he shouldn't get down on himself because of it. He seemed to be in good spirits and he doesn't feel any pain at all from the get offs.

Now I'm starting to wonder if I'm rushing him into things. Hopefully he doesn't freak out every time he sees a hill now. Maybe I need to scale it down a bit and let him get really acquainted with the bike, its controls and his own confidence. I don't know how the parent of amateur and pro motocross kids do it. I'm a pretty tough dude when it comes to him but that was gut wrenching seeing him down crying.
Yesterday, he made it up that climb.

according to the GPS, 200 ft in elevation from where we parked the truck. He got ice cream today alright.
