Just letting everyone know that they have graded and repaired all of Wagoner road as the Senator also, but they have a permanent gate now closing the Senator at Hoopers saddle whick SUCKS.

Graded all of Wagoner? From where the pavement ends near Cooper ranch on up to Senator highway?

And this gate.... Is it locked, or just there, and we need to open/close it as we pass through?

It is locked up solid and very substantial. And Wagoner is graded the entire length along with all of Minnehaha now being for sale.

So, does the gate keep you from going from Crown King to Prescott or Crown King to Minnehaha?

I wonder if that's going to be part of some sort of re-vegetation closure? I guess that means it would reopen in the next 10-15 years.

At Hoopers sadle you can go toward Minnehaha (at least until it sells) and on out through Wagoner like we did but cannot legally go to Prescott. It is a steel gate like you see around Flag when they close the roads for snow etc.

Side note but kind of interesting... The person who currently owns Minnehaha Flats is director Roman Polanski, also a wanted man I believe.

It is possible it's closed as part of the forest closures due to fire hazard

OK this pisses me off, and I am not beyond taking a pair of lineman dykes on a ride with me to cut a barb wire fence up or downstream from the gate. I'll also have some wire to patch up my cut in any fence.

Yep, it's closed from Hooper's Saddle to where Pine Flats Rd intersects Senator Hwy. The Pine Flats/Senator end looks like this:

I guess the way around from the Crown King area is to go toward Minehaha and Wagoner and then up Bodie Mine Rd.
