Me & Alex ( AleThtor) are going on practice ride on Sunday z 15th soon after z meetin' from Strabucks , we will take seven springs to Bloody Basin to C.K. to Mayer or Prescott dependin' on rd conditions , from there i got 2 choices of terrain to choose from if time allows .

Description of this ride : we will move on a fast pace style to cover more terrain in shortest time possible . we will only stop for quick short breaks like gas or food &/or bikes inspection . Anyone is welcome to join . I remind u guys we ride AGATT & i am bringin' radios this time .

P.S. : I would love to join CrozB on that ride on Saturday but i have so much work in z morning . Again sorry for z short notice .

I rode Seven Springs to Bloody Basin out to I-17 a few weeks ago. The road was in good condition with traffic. If you want a little challenge consider Seven Springs to FR41 (Table Mesa) out to I-17. Little to no traffic and more challenging. Comes out a little south of Bloody Basin on I-17.

Hi,

My wife and I are headed to Eastern AZ in October and are looking for good dual sport rides in the Benson area. We're pretty inexperienced (2 years riding; no real off-road) and on big bikes (BMW 1200's), so we're not ready for highly technical stuff. Any recommendations on routes, or books, or ... ? That might help us scope out some good places to go?

I can suggest two books:

Backcountry Adventures Arizona by Peter Massey & Jeanne Wilson

Guide to Arizona Backroads & 4-Wheel Drive Trails by Charles A. Wells

Both are organized by sections of the state, include GPS coordinates and have trail difficulty ratings.

Hello everyone,

I am back.
Last weekend once I tried to access my PM I received a message that I was being banned for "running scripts" into the website. The ban was supposed to hold for 30 days. HOwever, I was contacted by the administrators and everything was straigthen. I've no idea what a script is and less idea about how to run them. Since probably was someone using my ID or a virus, I was allowed to come back to the forum. I cleaned up my computer and no signs of virus or worms were found. I am sure that everything started with a PM I received from someone I've never heard about before. I opened it and nothing happened but some hours later I was banned.
So, bottom line is ... be carefull with your PMs.

That is very strange? A lot of PMs I get are from People I don't know (at first anyway). I have no idea how I could watch for it. Was the subject line suspicious?

I didn't make it past Bloody Basin and I-17 because of a nasty flat! However it looked like it was storming up there pretty good! Should be nice and slick for you tomorrow.

Bike is in the shop getting Teeks put on now so I will not be riding for a little while.

Sorry about ur flat Dave i did S. Springs to Bloody B. almost 5 times i got flat tire 2 times that's a lot , on same dam spot or area . we will still gonna be doing it tomorrow , forcast are callin' for fair weather no rain . Wish u can join us but i'll be in z meetin' tomorrow morning and my old buddy Robert ( Nuclieye ) is joinin' me to that ride welcome back Nuclieye

Once I had the bike on the stand it took all of 15 minutes from start to finish to change out the rear sprocket and chain including drilling out the master link to fit as the one they included was punched with a worn die leaving it too small to work. LOL Looking forward to meeting all and hitting the dirt again Eddy.

I will be there tomorrow for coffee and then headed out to 4 peaks.
With me will be Jean Fran-swa. HE is french canadian so sounds like a Paris version of Eddy. He is very much a rooking rider so I will leave the coffee and we will head for Rte 87 and drive a very short way on the 4 peaks main road.

I do not know how to go from carfee hyw out to Bartlett to 87.

Need easy no sand area and 4 peaks rd or The road to the Rolls OHV is "safe" .
Ain't ridin 17 with him. He is not ATGATT aware yet.

Also, I just ordered full set of Motoport AIr Mesh Kevlar coat and pants. They are doing custom work on the jacket colors and pockets. The design matches my bike. Chick magnet - more than zEddyy.
