Great ride, thanks Eddy
I had a great ride today, no broken bones, only some pride left on the side of a curb.
I am very pleased to have met the group. Thank you Eddy for your great tips, I got home safe. Even with bikecrisis trying to get me kissing the cactus by pointing out (inexistent) coyotes... Cheers! Jean-Francois (JF) ps. Here are some pictures of today: 20090315RideHorseshoeLake |

This past Sundays meeting
Wow, what a turnout! Sundays meeting was the largest yet and am I so glad that new people are coming out to join us for fun and adventure, this is the reason that Kuulei and I decided to start Southwest Dual Sport Riders Club, and it seems to be working, so thank you to all of those who are helping in making it happen
.PS: One thing about our Sunday meetings, due to the high turnout on this last meeting I think that we need to be respectful to the GP. I observed a great many people having trouble negotiating the sidewalk due to our bikes being parked there (one of those was a disabled person). I know the reason for parking or bikes on the sidewalk is to ensure that they do not get wiped out by some ya hoo driving through the parking lot like a maniac, but I think that in order to respect the other patrons of the surrounding establishments and keep a good public image we should consider grouping or bikes in the parking lot instead of the sidewalk. Thanks for your cooperation!

I am glad yoy guys had a great time. I wish I could be there but a food poisoning got me bad yesterday and ended up dehidrated at the ER. Shoot, I hate when I do not ride.
By the way guys, I tracked down the message that screwed up my accout. It came to me as a private message titled 'awsome'. Do not open it in case you guys get it on your mail box. It came from a sender named 'fornos' but since then I have received the same message from a bunch of different guys who probably did not know they are spreading the thing. Cheers

WAS Great to meet all of you!!!!
I was really nice to meet the group yesterday!!!! I hope to be there next week!!!
Sorry I had to leave a little early. Got stuck w/ the Nuggett for 3 hours. After that I replaced the battery.. Not it! The Fuse had blown!!! Now I understand about the little talk about bringing extra equipment with... HA!!!! After all of that I was able to get 500 miles on the princess. Oil change & now I can go up to 6K RPM!!!!! I think the people behind me will be even happier than me!!!!! THANKS! Dietrich |

Luau This Weekend
Aloha everyone...
Don’t forget that this coming Saturday March 21st at 3pm is the clubs first annual Hawaiian Luau. All of you have gotten your invitations via PM a few weeks ago. Directions and detailed info is on the invitation. If you need me to send it again, please PM me. Also, those who plan to come by and have NOT RSVP’d please PM me. I just need to know how many are coming. You are welcome to bring a guest. That said... the following day, our regular club meeting will be canceled. Those of you who have planned rides can post for Sunday the 22nd . The regular club meet and greet will resume on Sunday March 29 at 8am. Regarding this last meeting: I want to also mention that several really good ideas and feedback was put on the table. I think it’s a very good way for the club to grow and as we do, we appreciate your patience. Reminder that Guy’s suggestion for the Yahoo message board to be used as a resource for internal recommended links for products, items or services each of us has. If you have a recommended link, please add it to the yahoo message board links section. Last, welcome to our new guys John, Kurt and Jean-Franc. Enjoy the show... L
