Planning to do part of this Swansea ride on this coming Wed. before the bad weather comes in. Probably into Parker instead of up to Swansea. There are some sand washes going west that paralel Shea Rd I want to try.

So what would the route be from Wickenburg to Swansea? And back?

I'll need to be back home by about 4:00.

Not sure which day yet either.

Lets help our neighbors

I don't how many here have ridden Moab, but the good folks up there need our help. Go to advrider.com/fourms/showthread.php?t=844664 ---Rocky Mountain West section to read & follow.

The Outdoor Industry Association (OIA) has proposed to the Obama white house that under the antiquities act of 1906, that 1.4 million acres of BLM & USFS lands be turned to a National Monument to be named Canyonlands N.M.

This is trying to be accomplished WITHOUT public input by the O.I.A.

Lets add to the petition and support our neighbors to the north, and be ever vigilant, cause it can & will happen here.

Is this the club that puts on that Feb. ride in the Dragoons? Does one have to own/operate a GPS to ride that or can we get tag-along status?

Tag along

If you are meaning this thread group the answer is no it is a thread only. As for Desert Daze in the Dragoons you will find lots of people to ride with no GPS required.

This is exacly how the Escalante National Monument was created in Clinton's era. Just the stroke of the pin. They've been after Moab area for a long time. It may just happen since OBAMA is very liberal with the executive order pin.
