Yeah well, I just read the group's requirements and my 400, which I trailer to the staging area, does not pass their minimum CC standards.

The DRZ's maiden voyage a few days after I purchased her was a cold 80 mile ride by myself up to Payson to meet with a buncha whackos at 8am for a ride. they proceeded to drag my ass on a ride called "The Hell Ride". We ended up crossing the Verde River guided by moonlight at around 10pm. I arrived home at about midnight. I think I've done enough of the macho "I have to ride my bike to the ride" shit. I'll leave that for the guys that have something to prove.

Went to Wickenburg yesterday. Had a GPS track I got from Reidy008. came across a fellow inmate (Terb) along the way.
![]() Lake Pleasant in the distance ![]() nice graded roads at the start ![]() First of several gates ![]() Some of the milder sand on Buckhorn ![]() More of Buckhorn ![]() Found the Peanuts artwork I had heard about ![]() Crazy rocks. I would not want to be in this canyon during the monsoon season ![]() As you can see by this boulder with debris piled on top of it. The boulder is about 5 ft tall. ![]() Nice scenery. But again I bet the water can fly through this narrow canyon ![]() finally heading to higher ground and out of the sand ![]() More scenery ![]() Who puts a gate on a hill??? ![]() looking back at the road behind. ![]() Another place I heard about. Isaac Bradshaw's Grave site ![]() I wonder if the Bradshaw Mountains is named after his family or maybe after him? ![]() Lots of mines as I got closer to Wickenburg ![]() Made it to Wickenburg. I was running late so I slabbed it back to home. great ride with lots of interesting scenery.
