Reminds me of when you'd take Sam two-up and snap a few pics along the way.

Newbie single track ride 28 April at Wildcat

My dirt bike club, OFF CAMBER MC, is hosting a beginner single track ride out near Bartlett Lake just outside Cave Creek on 28 April. I rode the 16 mile loop this week, and it's a good Novice trail, with a couple hills, a few whoops, a bit of sand wash, some rocks, just about everything you'd see on a normal ST ride in AZ. I wouldn't call it big bike friendly, and probably tough for a very first ST ride, but doable on an unladen DR with a novice piloting. We'll have a leader and sweep, limited to 10 riders max per group, 50 total. Please feel free to pass this on to anyone wanting to try their hand a single track riding in a relatively safe atmosphere. Flyer details below.

Thanks,
Psycho

Off Camber Motorcycle club would like to invite everyone out to ride the beautiful singletrack/two-track trails of the Tonto National Forest
Date: 4/28/13
Place: Wildcat OHV area
Time: 7:30am meeting time
Fee: $15 donation made to Paypal (offcambermc@aol.com)
The trails are intended to be novice/C level in nature
15 20 Mile Loop
Ride intended to have C rider level guided tour of some of the singletrack/two-track trails available in the Tonto National Forest and familiarize yourself with Off Camber Motorcycle Club.
Limited to the first 50 riders that sign up by Paypal
Items needed:

Suggested gear as well: chest protector, elbow and knee pads and riding clothing
Per National Forest rules, your motorcycle must have an OHV sticker and spark arrestor
Sandwich and Water Provided Post-Ride

3 Day Loop - Laughlin to Sedona/Jerome/Prescott and back

I'm thinking about doing a ~3 day loop out of Bullhead City.....nothing too crazy......just a nice 3/3.5 day dirt ride to unfamiliar places......I've only been over to Sedona/Jerome/Prescott once and it was a whirlwind trip......

Does anyone have any track logs or suggested points of interest for a 3/3.5 day trip between Sedona and Bullhead City? I should be able to cover ~150-200+ miles/day if the riding is easy, or moderately easy, dirt.......as always, I want to stay off pavement as much as possible........as we all know, the dualsport path is the dirty line NOT the straight/paved line - .............thinking I may be able to get within striking distance of Sedona in one day?........then roll into Sedona on day 2 for breakfast........screw around in the area between Sedona/Jerome/Prescott on day two.........maybe stay in Prescott on day 2 or somewhere west of Prescott on the path home to Bullhead?........then roll back into Bullhead sometime on Day 3.........does that seem reasonable/practicable?............I'd either camp or grab a room somewhere.....probably the latter so I can travel light and motel rooms are generally cheap on Wed/Thurs nights ......but willing to camp if the destination merits it..........may or may not have a riding buddy with me.......hopefully I will have at least one riding partner.......My other half always worries about mechanical breakdowns when I'm riding solo.......which I probably do too often.....

Thanks in advance for any tracks/tips/guidance....

So the tentative plan would be to drive down to Bullhead on Tuesday night the 21st and head out early Wed.....loop back by Friday night or Sat morning.....I know it's too stinking hot by late May but I have the week off so screw it......(but I need to be back to Bullhead no later than noon on Sat to keep the peace in Casa de Crawdaddy )

Tom, please PM me your email address....again

Anybody want a generic big bike cover? I came across the one that came with my V-Strom and don't see using it.

Cover?

When did you get a V-Strom? I will take it off your hands as I park one or two bikes outside most of the time. Cheers

We had it before our 950 Adventure. The cover has just been sitting in a box in my garage. It's yours next time I see you!
