right-on steve. so what do you ride now? any mods made for ya?

i know a few BTK amps and they all get along great. i know one ATK and he says he has to be careful, plan out movements sometimes ect. but hes my roofer and gets along pretty dang good considering, he has an indycar inspired leg, carbon, machined alu, titanium spring,,, sheesh. the thing is badass and almost makes me envious,,, almost.

Yeah - it's cool tech but like many things, it'd be cooler if I didn't need it. I'm getting along real well right now but it's been a rough road getting here... a year ago I couldn't stand for more than five minutes without a lot of pain and walking very far was really tough. I had to go back in for a follow up procedure a couple of years ago and they messed things up pretty bad and the three years before that I was pretty rough.... Many things in my life besides the garage pretty much were completely neglected during those years...

I'm riding a R11GS (with the little stick figure guy in the wheelchair on the plate! ). I've got a Tiger and a very beat KLR buried in the garage. [Eventually] I'm going to sell the Tiger since it's way too tall for me now and part out the KLR since it's pretty much dead and worn out. The only modification is a dacron cord I tied to the shift pedal so I can upshift by pulling on it - albeit no track days for me. I know it sounds hokey but once I got used to it, it works well and ya got to admire the simplicity and reliability! Heck, if it breaks I can just tie another one on...

It's a haul for me, but I will try to make it.

What's on the menu? There better be bacon if you want Big-E to show up.

I would like to be in for at least breakfast. When you get more info on the ride please post as I don't want to slow everyone down or get in over my head.

Thanks
Bill

I went for quick recon ride for opening stage for this year Z Grand Canyon Ride 2013.
From Dugas rd to Camp Verde.

I run into this crazy downhill trail by mistake but (branched out of 68d) but it was the wrong way to go so I took note and saved it for later recon.

I'll post some Vid. later.
