I've got a fairly new CRF50 for sale! I bought it a couple years ago from the original owner. I took my 7 year old out for his first ride and he did not like it. Hasn't ridden it since. I must not be a very good coach.

My 10 year old wouldn't even get on it.

They both prefer the quad despite my insistence that motorcycles are better...

DurtKlod, I had the exact sam thing with my son - He is a tall 7 year old. Bought him a CRF70 took him out twice he didn't like it. Sold it for $200 more than I bought it. Still would have rather him like to ride. Now he is asking for a quad - NO NO NO

That sucks but kinda like you said, I'd rather have them riding with me on a quad than not coming at all because they don't like the motorcycle.

That reminds me Edddy, I bet my little guy has already outgrown some of his safety gear already as well. Boots, maybe the helmet, probably not the chest plate though. If your interested, we can talk.

New to phoenix

G'day all. Looks like I maybe coming to phoenix for a couple of years for work. So a couple of questions, is the riding good there? Are there any ride groups? Where is best place to look for bikes? Is there a website that everyone uses? Not sure what I will get yet, but looks like I will be there from around Feb. Oh I am coming over from Australia so am looking forward to getting a few good rides in when I can.
I would like a low mileage adv tourer. I have owned bmws and KLR in past so am not hard over. Would love to source an airhead bmw, but if they are as rare over there as here then will just stick with a newer bike!

G,day mate, you are coming to one of the best off road ride areas in the world. This is one of the best places to find rides and riders but you should also check out azbeemers as that will be a great resource if you go the BMW route. You can find the BMW bikes fairly easy over here so no issues there. Let me know once your plans are set and I will get you hooked up with what ever riding you like. Cheers

Very nice! Had an older one of those when I was about 14 or so. Called an AT1 I think. Had an electric starter with the shift lever that "wing out there" which would break every time I fell on the left. Traded it to my dad for a 175 kick start only.
