I was going to try and get the tag tomorrow as well. I'll hold off and see where you guys put it and then, if I can figure out where you have moved it to, get it after that.

....the plot thickens.... Is it a ploy to lure durtklod away for one more chance to find the ever evasive tag...?...or is 2spot merely a pawn in durtklods durty little game of deception. To move the tag further east where no mere mortal even has a chance? Perhaps the daughter? Oh so inconspicuous in her plans to take it to the farthest of the northern realms where only her collegiate cohorts have a chance....
Find out next week...same ADV time same ADV channel!

Give it up! Where are you all heading? Gonna be up in Jim's neck of the woods? Down here in mine?

Just got home from finding a place at Jomax and Tatum. Six miles from the office. Not far from Jim's shop at all. There's a lot of open desert between Jim's shop and my new place. Maybe it's time to blaze a trail.

Well that's not quite in the thick of things but close enough to be able to appreciate....being close enough.

Does anybody have the handlebar mount for the Contour HD cam they would either sell me or let me borrow for a bit? I want to mount my camera off my crash bars on the side to try a different angle. I don't know if it will work or not as there could be a lot of vibration there.

Hmmmmm, I forgot.. They are the little skinny ones that come all the way around the front. I bought them from Happy Trails.

Yup, and then there's that new Dove Valley Rd/Desert Parkway, which is lightly traveled and apparently hardly patrolled. It should make for some good blasting on the Busa. It will also be a time saver when moving all my shit down to the new place.

Speaking of that........Who wants to help me move some time in the next couple of weeks? I'll provide pizza and beer. It will only be the big, heavy stuff. I'll have all the light, easy shit already moved.

Put me down for a maybe and keep me posted on when. I know what its like needing help moving (9 times in the past 3 years, about 20 all together since high school) and I do tend to favor pizza and beer. Very busy though in the next couple weeks.

Thanks man. I'll let you know when it's go time. As of this moment, I'm not completely sure.

Once the upper country warms back up, I'm thinking something like this might be in order...

One day, 200 miles, big bike kinda ride (mostly easy dirt), 61 miles of pavement broken up into 3 pieces (21, 10, 30).
Wickenburg north to... Octave, Hillside, Bagdad, Camp Wood.
Back south to Skull Valley, Kirkland, Yarnell, repeat Octave to Wickenburg.

Posting here before going to the Flea Market.

Anyone local want to buy this thing?

I was going to put a little shine on it and get it running again, but time and space are going to be an issue. Besides, that Yardstick wanker never organized our Lake Pleasant to Crown King Grand Prix, so why should I keep this around?

Last time it ran was probably 5 years ago, so whatever gas may be in it, is shit.

Anyway, I've had this thing since 1986, and even after sitting for a long time, it always started after a few kicks.

I'm guessing street value on these things is well over $10,000 these days.

Make me an offer I can't refuse, and it's yours.

I would be up for this anytime before April 1. I need some "easy" dirt to try and rebuild some skills.
