So,.. Did they get rain up there this past weekend?

Got hailed on riding my KLR back home from the parts store on Saturday, that hurt since I was stupid and had tshirt, shorts, backwards ball cap - sorry, like I said - just going to Napa for a tire guage! Yeah, I know, bad, bad... but I had eye protection! Damn that storm came up quick! Then it rained like cats and dogs for about a half hour at my house on the southeast side. Been getting a lot over here. Just about every other day a short burst or two since July2. Was over riding some of the A and B route sections on the KTM yesterday and it was pretty dry. Good chance of rain tomorrow and again on Friday, which would be perfect.

Geezus. It gets hot, and you guys just hide inside?

And before you give me any shit about not being out on the KTM, I did 800 miles yesterday to San Diego and back on the Busa.

You went to SD & back on a Bus? Greyhound? Air conditioned? SO? Busa I think that's Italian for Bus?

I never messed with the kicker. I'll expect you to push my bike so I can bump start it.

The 640 is sporing fresh oil and filter and ready to go.

No, I had it much better than a Greyhound. Rather than ride with homeless people, criminals and the like, inside a tin can that smells like an outhouse, I took my Hauabusa 800 miles through a sand storm, 111 degree heat, rain, a haboob, lightning and other stuff which made the ride way better than any bus.

And I probably dealt with more sand and dirt on this ride than I would have running up to CK.

+1 It won't take long to see Tombstone. Bisbee is more fun. The place we stayed on our AZBDR ride was acceptable and run by a friendly bike riding Kiwi. The Copper Queen is over rated and the staff has more attitude than is necessary.

Pretty country down there, definitely worth the trip.
