Meh. The 'Busa warps time and space. Twist the grip outside of Tonopah, then hope you can get it stopped before you hit the Pacific.

We rode on knobbies to Silverton and back.

We had a large time. Good weather, light traffic, great views and, best of all, a cool breeze.

Well, last year in a day, I did Alamosa to Ponderosa campground, up FR 250 to Summitville, then FR 14 to Del Norte, then hit the asphalt back to Wickentucky.....On knobbies. Over 700 miles. Being awesome the entire time.

Neener neener.

Hey, who wants to let me ride their smaller (compared to my 640) KTM? I'm pondering buying a smaller dirt bike.

Yes. Once again I have found that a period is all I shouldve said.

Sorry, I didn't take enough pictures to make a decent ride report. With the exception of Ophir Pass we rode tarmac there and back. Monte's Tiger had electrical troubles so we had to change our plans a little.

No worries!

I would like to plan a trip there, before maybe snow becomes an issue?

I would reduce pavement quantity though... The KLR seems to act like an elephant that sees a mouse when it gets on pavement!

The locals that I talk to say that the ideal time is after labor day but before the leaves start to change.

We sat at Animas Forks and watched the spectacle. More traffic on the routes to the passes than downtown Phoenix during rush hour.

RMAR ride report

I lied. I had enough to do a very short ride report.
