Yeah Dosco Ti shock springs for $250 USD each, only 1 size though i think it was 9.5 or so,i didn't get one as i'm too heavy for a 9.something spring.
But if you are either side of 200 ringing wet i'd buy one in a flash Dosco.
Save a few LB as well as gain a better performance spring.

New to me BRP

Hey,

Been lurking for a while and picked up my XRR about a month a ago. The bike was formerly a back up bike for a guy who did the Baja 1000. He had the BD Tecate light kit, BD stator, Precision Concepts suspension and Pro Circuit full exhaust and uncorking done. Also a few other things like IMS pegs and a BRP upper triple with Fat bar. It's an 06 that saw a few training rides.

I wanted to do more 50/50 and dual sporting, so made a few tweaks. And replaced a few cosmetic things. (He put his old race bodywork on to sell, and kept some of the newer stuff for his primary race bike).

I added IRC GP1 tires and a BD rear LED. Put the stock tank back on. Probably will sell the natural tank in the next few weeks. It was previously titled in OR so I plated it here. WI DMV is pretty good with a bike titled from another state.

Love the bike. Kicks 1st or 2nd start with the right prep and technique. But the Pro Circuit isn't making any friends in my neighborhood. But I already have them somewhat conditioned to loud bikes at all hours.

When I bought it:

With my new mods:

Yup, Clarke 4.3. I crack up every time that picture gets posted in here. That's my bike back from when the previous owner had it. I assure you, it looks nowhere near that clean now.

But it still RIPS!!

Has anyone found any frame guards for the XRR? After 3 rides my frame rails are already bare metal on the edges.

I think he took that picture after he had completed a TON of mods to it.

Does anyone know where I can find a rear fender that isnt $90 $*^&#(% dollars???

I tried looking on the web and everything I found was so expensive. Is there a reason they cost so much? I looked up plastics for a YZ and they're $60 for the entire set.

The $90 tails are the ones with lights. I checked google and a couple of people had UFO no light tails for around $52...but I don't see the no light tails on their site anymore.

Here is a place selling the no light tail.
