Central VA Post Thanksgiving Day Ride

I' am planning on riding off all that turkey Sunday Nov. 30th. No real plans maybe just a loop out rt60, rt56, BRP, rt6 or something along those lines. Prob leave King William area around 8am and will hit Powhatan around 9-9:30am should be back into Richmond around 3-4pm. We will need to find a good place to eat lunch, any suggestions would be great. All are welcome, just a casual ride, maybe a little gravel thrown in for good measure.

I'd love to go, but have responsibilities at church until about 11:30am.

That's a wonderful ride. I took it a few weeks ago.

Check with Madstrom on where to eat. He knows those roads like the back of his hand!

Vesuvius has a great place to eat ;) Hell, if you battery dies people even help out don't they Madstrom?

Count me in. I might be leaving from Dinwiddie or Gloucster Point depending on how the Rockfish fishing is. I'll catch up to you all somewhere. MADSTROM you gonna try to get to Sheetz in PowHatan round 9 or so? We might be able to hook up there...

OUCH - Just checked the forecast and they are calling for rain around here and SNOW near the mountains for Sunday.

That definitely does NOT describe Manganos. Anyone that shoots, skins, carves, and freezes their own meat isn't a wuss! He might be a little crazy (just look at some of his pics while 4-wheeling doing jumps 30 feet in the air), but he ain't stupid. Weather happens sometimes and you can't always predict it once you get on the road, but going for a ride when you know the weather will be nasty and dangerous is stupid in my book. I've seen too many bikers and skiers busted up (and worse) in my practice and would rather not be a stastic myself. JMHO.
