Was a nice day for a mixed surface ride. Walter, Jimmer and I picked up the duck and headed across the river into PA. Walters bike was experiencing some indigestion, so after awhile he headed back home leaving Jimmer and me to continue and place the tag.

Wikipedia states that...
The High Line is a 1-mile (1.6 km)[1] New York City linear park built on a 1.45-mile (2.33 km)[2] section of the former elevated New York Central Railroad spur called the West Side Line, which runs along the lower west side of Manhattan;

But really its just a dirt road in PA, located in the Deleware State Forest just west of Pecks Pond. You will find the duck along this road near a gate thats probably used to access some kind of gravel or sand PIT. Note that google and garmin show this access at different points.

The duck is in the post behind my bike.

Close-up of where the duck is:

Thanks Commander and GearedUp for taking me along on the perfect antidote to a couple of weeks of being housebound and sucky weather. Really enjoyed the part after this drop.

Is there a reason that was moved here?

Duck be gone.

This one was on a duck booty call, but I guess it doesn't count.

Heck of a nice ride today-- roads, trails, and weather. Felipe and I both had the heated grips on for a while

And nothing finishes a ride like

I can't speak for KL_ARRR, but I think we had a nice day too.
For me it was 12 hours door to door and about 350 miles following KL_ARRR around
(not so easy with his flakey GPS).

Action shot of tag get:

Some great old engineering:

(actually, there're two pieces of great old engineering in that shot)

Some new engineering (there were NO signs saying the road was now private):

New drop. Did anyone see a lake? I didn't:

That's some lucky lady you found, she spends a lot of time ignored and lovelorn
in the wilds of NE PA. Shame she can't be relocated to a state that cares.
