You can take the photo from the street, silly! A Honda Pacific Coast could get the tag!

They say that you are not paranoid if they are really out to get you!

Good thing I have a tough skin!

And really, this was a good idea, just before it's time. Now, maybe, it will catch on. There are some really cool street/dirt combination rides around the New York Metro area. Walter has put together numerous spectacular multi-surface rides for the V-stroms and the GSs. Even the KLRs can have fun. This is the Advrider forum, right?

Why, even the Big Apple Crowd could come out and play sometimes. Hard to find dirt in New York City proper. That's legal!

NEW TAG®
sorry guys, i couldn't get to my Tag opt A and not much of a hill here, just a hump, but there's a bonus spot only a couple of min away. unless you're not afraid of heights, there's only one way to get to the tag fishing spot and the bonus hill is on your left on your way out.
here's your clue (doc, you're going to like this... a gps coordinates! )

n40°40.431' / w74°18.775'

..and the bonus spot:

closest I could get in the dark....

Here's the shot from the little pond...

Couldn't get any closer because of the park guard stationed in the parking lot nearby.

And the sign that said "No Unauthorized Vehicles"

Adam, let me know if this suffices...

Doc, you came close but on the wrong side of the pond... roughly you would need to ride about 3 miles further to get the tag location from where you were (unless you can jump over the water or ride over a narrow dam)The real challenge was to get to the tag... even with the GPS coordinates it's not as easy as one might think - trust me i understand if you don't feel like going back and we can move on with what you have, but you missing out by going there at night.
Also, note that there are no signs prohibiting you to enter from where i entered just "No Dumping" sign, so stop whining and go back there and explore
call me if you run into trouble - i'll be there in 30 min or less to help you navigate!

don't you dare let him off the hook, he has a bad habit of tagging the wrong side of the pond.

3 miles is neither a horseshoe nor a hand grenade.
