Muscle bikes are just big engine nakeds, bikes with plenty of low down grunt.

And naked bikes are obviously the sexiest.
Only bad thing is the wind noise gets old on longer trips.

You know Kawasaki are releasing a new ZRX, don't you? It's the last of their 2009 line-up

For real? Or is this another "new VFR" rumor?

From my experience, bikes with windshields make more noise with
their buffeting then a clean flow of air on a naked bike.

Then all you need is a Schuberth helmet and/or ear plugs.
Preferably both.

FI?
ABS?

(I suspect someone's gonna smack me with sumthn for asking last 2
questions)

I was hoping for a zx14 motor in the new one, but at least they are still making them. now if they will bring em here. seems odd they bring it out this late in the year.

ZRX has been around since 99, stopped making them after 05.
It's pretty popular, so it would sell.

My green '99. The airbox is going back in soon along with some ZX11 carbs.

That's too bad.
If it had ABS, I would consider it over the big Bandit.

I consider this a good thing. Only true diehards ride Z-rex's. And diehards don't need ABS.

I love all musclebikes and if this wasn't available it would be a ZRX1200
Some gorgeous bikes on this thread

I lusted after one of these when they came out. Too bad Yamaha didn't see fit to bring to the States.
