The pods will allow a lot more airflow. The individual pods' total surface area is larger than that of the stock air filter.

Here's mine... Big Bore/1224cc, 12.5.1 JE's APE Crank ZX-11d ECU Dymags, Gilles, GP/Olhins susp, FCR41's, slipper clutch, Blah, blah,blah runs awesome. Pic is from Willow this past weekend. Oh and the Mo'Flow is a carb/airbox kit sold by KWICK on the ZRXOA. He uses the zx11D semi-downdraft carbs in the kit Totally custom modded airbox. He has it jetted ready to go.....

Any pictures?
Mines a ZRX1100 with ZX11 cams, stock suspension, steel braided lines, Stage 3 kit, muzzy CF pipe and SS headers, k&N pods.

I don't need it either.. until a cat falls out of a tree just a few feet in
front of me, and 2 different road surfaces change in the next 10 feet of

Yup. Bike will make more power & run better with the ZX11 carbs and modified airbox than with pods.

I'm also running a ZX11 ignitor box, ignition rotor and cams. JE pistons & lightened crank from APE. 1109cc - makes about 150whp.

This was my '99 in Iron Butt mode, I'd just completed my first SS1K when this was taken. Rex was replaced by an ST13 but still missed :-/
