Beautiful machines for sure.
I get plenty of compliments on mine.
Oh, and it seems like I get better gas mileage on my ZRX with mods than my dad does with his stock one. He gets a constant 38mpg, versus my 42+ mpg. Kinda weird.
I ride a distant cousin of the ZReX, a 550 Zephyr... it's the look! I'm relatively small sized and have a love of running a bike a bit harder, so the small motor allows me to do that yet still have a license and freedom... I just popped in here for some fun. I do love the old superbike look of these bikes.

Now, the MPG thing. I gained 10 mpg on my KLX when I put on a pipe, pulled the snorkle out of the airbox lid (too loud without the lid, I lasted a half block before the roar got to me), a Vulcan piston overbore, and a Dial-A-Jet enrichener. It went from 50 mpg to 60 mpg and does it almost regardless of how or where I ride. I guess some bikes react well to being unstuffed.

Give me that without the quarter fairing. Just stick a big round headlight on there.

I usually like the big round headlight naked but that little bikini fairing is small enough and retro enough to make me happy. Don't know why I didn't get the ZRX1100 or 1200 before. They are sooooo cool!

True that.. but I still like the "proper" naked better, altho this mini fairing
probably helps a lot when you "step on the loud pedal".

Both the round headlight and the quarter fairing looks good on this bike.

I love a big round light, too, but to me the ZRX has to have the rectangle light and bikini fairing. I just doesn't look complete without it.

If you must have the round light mod, go with the big train light from the old Zook GS.

One thing I've yet to see is a bikini fairing modded to accept a round light.
