Radar detector? That's like asking for a ticket if you're pulled over.

Really? I've been stopped twice with instant on, and got a warning both times.

Not sure of his actual height, but he seemed about that tall to me when I met him and rode with him. Of course, I'm 5'-8" (in Doc Martens), so everyone is tall to me.

Shows how well that thing works, getting pulled over twice.
But I'm surprised.

I just know people who have gotten very minor things, speeding 5mph over, and gotten tickets. They had visible radar detectors in their car...
I also know several cops have told me they are more likely to write someone a ticket if they see a radar detector.
However your bike looks great, I must say.

6'5" to be exact. Way too tall for just about anything but a GS.

I hear you. 6'4 here, and I have trouble fitting on most bikes.
I have to scoot back on the seat on the zrx so my knees aren't on the engine.

To the ZRX owners here, I got a tip from a former zrx racer.
See in Mike's picture, how the axle is all the way up? If you rotate the axle so it is all the way down(this lifts the rear), you will get much quicker steering.
Just thought I would pass the tip to you guys.

Hola!

I just joined the ranks of the ZRX owners a couple weeks ago. I flew to Pennsylvania and rode it home to South Carolina. She was horribly dirty and neglected, so i tore her down in the garage and got her caught up on maintenance.

Its a '00 1100, black with the silver and gold stripes. Im the third owner, and the guy i bought it from knew little or nothing about the orig. owners mods, but heres what i found:

zx11 cams
7" round headlight
stage III jets
k&n pods
batt. relocation kit (CAVERNOUS STORAGE!)
some different turn signals (they are awesome!)
radiator pods removed
gold anodized handlebar (dont know if its stock)
Pingel petcock

What im not sure about:
zx11 igniters?
1109 kit?

The seat was in rough shape, so I just had it reshaped and covered with a black carbon fiber vinyl...it turned out great!

I need to tweek the carbs alittle, but the bike is awesome and very fast!

I also just joined ZRXOA, under the same screen name.

I dont have any pics as of yet, but Ill get some soon
