The Kitchener Mud Run.

I had a nice repot all typed up and lost it.

Went for a ride on saturday up at Sugarloaf. The rain was heavy, all through the night and into the morning. I expected noone to turn up! We rocked up to 6 riders kitting up.

Glenn- Ec300
Old Al - KLX250
Willo - 200EXC
Brendan - 250EXC
Paul - DRZ400
Me - XR650R

The mozzies were out so it was a race to gear up and head off.

Old Al was leading who still rides the tight stuff in his mid 60s. Hope im still riding by then!

Willo with her 200EXC. She used my bike as a sidestand

Wet single track.

A hill climb resulted in one big red pig in the scenery. (this happened more than once )

Lunch at kitchener Pub.

The ride back was real good.
Al knows the area well, and always puts on a top ride, despite the very slimey conditions i had a ball.

Was a fun day. Was good to get back into it slowly without feeling like I had to constantly keep up and worry.
Thanks for the ride out guys.

How come Willo is the only one that don`t ride like a girl .

Looks like all you old girls had a fun day in the mud . Now , get out and change your brake pads , I`ll bet they are all worn to nuthin` !

Cheers Alan
