Assault on Tahoe 6-12 '09 until you leave

This will be for Adventure bikes. So far, nothing as hard as Death Valley(mengel pass). Pavement mixed in between trails. All rides will start in South Lake Tahoe and end there abouts.
Camping:

Date is tentative if it works for most. June 12, 13 and 14th of 2009
Zephyr cove and Nevada beach are the closest.

Day 1 will go down Kingsbury grade out thru the Pine nuts (east of Gardnerville) over the mountains out Red Canyon to Smith Valley. Then back to Topaz Lake and 395 to catch Leviathan mine rd down to Markleville. Slab back to Tahoe. Found dirt to get most the way back.

Leviathon peak

Day 2 around the Lake

This trail will have to wait til spring to see if we can add it. The day will start thru Bratovich park off of Andria/Kingsbury grade. Going up to Genoa Peak(9,200'+) then over to the intersection of 50/28. Across the road to NF39. Follow this to Kings Canyon down to Carson City for lunch. Or on to NF39A back up to the lake to Incline Village. Haven't finished the rest but there's plenty around the West shore. We will visit/go thru Blackwood canyon down to Rubicon. I will add as everything gets finished.

Todays ride was up to Genoa Peak. First time to try one of those panorama shots.

time to air down. That's the last section of day 1. Going to have to wait til spring. Too much snow on the North side of the mountains. This is around 8,000'el.

I would like to hold my judgement til spring when I get all routes finished.
I can't find anything that's hard. So far it's GS'able. The first picture with my bike parked is a trail we can't do. Got so steep at the bottom a couple of miles from there that it would definetly require a 450 size bike. It's a ridge over from the trail I want to do but some knucklehead homeowner(the only one on that side of Kingsbury grade) put a gate up at the bottom. It's on the old road partly paved. I'm going down to the county to inquire about it being private now. Use to be an emergency fire exit. The second picture with my poor bike taking a nap is not confirmed to go anywhere. It looks like a cool trail but a can't verify on any maps that it loops out anywhere.
