Yup, that was my foot in my photos. I wacked it on some hidden rock on the single track . I knew I hurt it and thats why I rode slab on the last part. I don't know if I broke a toe or not and never will know, it will get better!

Fortunately, I can't match ktmnate

Got me! Next time I'll make it more than 5 minutes so you can get a chance to take my pix and that will give me a chance to take pictures myself adding to the quality of the ride report.

Man, your foot looks more painfull than my hand. I think I would rather hurt my foot than hand. At least you have a chance to ride. The way my cast is and the outrigger on my 5th digit, there is no chance. . This will be the longest that I have gone without riding since 1990 (no joke).

i wear a sidi, very comfortable, but really don't have a lot of protection. many times make me wonder if i should buy a mx boots, give up comfort for protection. but again, i'm a nOOb, seldom ride areas that are challenging.

Oh I got the joke Jeff! One of these days i will get it right.

I called Elka up and talked to the tec and he tried to make the front sound like its just a matter of fine tuning it. Well, I'm sending it back with the rear one so they can go through it.

Anyhow going to sell the bike no matter what.

we can see hw50 below

we came across real kids on dirt bikes

not so real kids and not real dirt bikes

at some sections...the place was overtaken by the vegetation

it's the end of the dirt road (for now) and we regrouped before riding to carson city

they came in small and x-large

someone lost his head on this ride...

nice sights along the way

we can see carson city

virginia city

after an hour of waiting, we left without the group a riders; kind of worried something not good might have happened. but they're all big boys and they can do without us.

virginia city here we come. we took the pavement while others continued on taking the dirt road.

the city proper is small but nostalgic and historic

this joint is smoking...

spafxer just showed us his pissing lemon

pulled pork sammich was good

sunday ride

instead of rushing home, several of us decided to do the sunday dual sport tour. this ride is more a sightseeing and leisure ride around the lake.

jeff and marilyn took us to some places which are favored by the locals

here's jimbee making friends with a squirrel

simply beautiful

When I broke the navicular in my wrist centerpunching a lab, I had a cast like yours for nine months.

To ride you grip with anything you can...
Then it's all in the shoulder as your elbow pivots with each shift.
I took the cast off early a few time cause I couldn't stand it!
Had to have it recast as it sure felt funny!

toby, you saw the pics, there were 3 gs on this ride, though there are several sections i would find it challenging if i rode my gs.

best thing about tahoe, lots of new and good things to see. and the air is super clean.

a local deli/market in tahoma; we stopped for lunch, and the sandwich was great

devin was challenged to eat a full sandwich

jeff, marilyn, and dale

jimbee

after lunch, we rode to rubicon; more pics tonight
