I was wondering what it looked like installed - location, fit, finish, etc...

In the mean time, I just got a real fender installed on my C14 from Blue One

Have any of you guys' local police departments bought any Connies? My home town has. I find myself proud to be the owner of a bike the police want, but on the other hand, I now own the Crown Victoria of motorcycles...

tips on changing tires

I have a 2011 Connie with tps and need to put a new set of tires on. This is the only bike I have that has tps and don't want to screw it up. I plan to change the tires on my equipment. Any tips or what to watch out for when changing these tires? All suggestions are appreciated.

My tire shop broke mine also. They replaced it for free. They broke mine just by catching it with the tire bead. Be very careful.

Yup, don't break the bead in that area, and if you're really paranoid just take them off. They unscrew with an Allen key and it takes about 30 seconds to get the extra piece of mind.

Well its been a couple months. Was wondering did you by a c-14. If you did what's your opinion. Im also looking at a c-14 for two up
Thanks

The Mrs. said she would ride with me all day if she was comfortable enough on the back. Picked up a 10' Wing and she's put in 15 hour days with me on it. Makes the purchase absolutely worth it 100%. I was wanting a ST mount and had the sights set on a Truimph ST or C14. No regrets, the 1800 is fairly athletic for a 900lb sled.

Haha, well, things didn't really work out quite the way I thought they would, and the prospect of a ST is pretty far off, although I can tell you that a C-14 is at the top of my list.

That being said, I really have to agree with sumo that a used GL might be a more likely addition to my stable, hard to beat it's long distance comfort.

Goldwings

You do reallise that to ride a goldwing there is a minimum age and weight requirement and one has to take an oath to ride at least 15 mph below the speet limit and only in the company of other goldwings, I know because I sold the damm things for almost 30 years, its a great bike I just don't want to be seen on one.

I've got a ZX-14 on the way, and the shop showed me the KTM kit. It's pretty slick.
