For anyone interested in getting the MC Enterprises crash bars, there's currently a group buy going on for them over on the ZGGTR forum.

Group Buy ends 3/23/2012

I'm inseamed challenged when setting on the Connie, 31" balls to the wall.
I don't have sure footing when trying to backup.
Don't quite need a Kiss boot style as much as I like them.
Looking for a 3/4 length touring boot with a thicker sole and heel any suggestions?

Not cheap, but apparently very well built.

Have you considered lowering links?

Yes that would be my last resort. The boot first, quick simple and I need a pair any way.
If the boot doesn't work will replace the seat.
Maybe completely wrong, but that is the order I'm thinking.

Have a DR650 also, experienced with toe touching and just how little tolerance you are working with on an
uneven surface, crown or some loose ground cover.

So I want both feet firmly planted.

First thought was no lowering links like suggested in a previous post, however first new part ordered was the lowering link.
Better to drop the height than drop the bike.
