That's a keeper pic! My neighbor had a pair of (cherry) Trail 70's that he just gave to his brother. It was cool watching him ride them around the hood the last few years.

I saw a Trail 70 for sale the other day in Spfd. I think it was on the curb in front of Caldwells automotive.

Thanks Bro, I was in your neck-o-the woods today over by the Mill district. If it wasn't snowing so hard and getting to be so late I would have dropped by work for a few rounds.... .50 cal preferably!

I just got back from being in the confluence area of the coast and middle fork of the Willamette river observing the major water event for my water class.

It's stopped raining but now the flooding is happening;

Lane County encourages residents in flooded areas to evacuate during the daylight hours. Rivers are expected to continue to rise after dark.
Forecasters expect the Mohawk River to crest at 9 p.m. this evening. This means the river will raise another 3.5 feet based on National Weather Service river predictions.
The Marcola flooding area has expanded to mile post 14 to the north and south to Old Mohawk Road. The expanded flood site includes the entire town of Marcola as well as Parsons Creek and Old Mohawk Road.
For Marcola area residents, the Briggs Middle School, located at 2355 Yolanda Street in Springfield, will be open at 4 p.m. Thursday as a shelter.

Dang if you go to the trip check page there are 40-50 storm related road issues between the valley and the coast.

They closed Hwy 126 this morning at 8:30 because of Cushman (under the rail road bridge) being 2 1/2 feet under water. High tide was around 9:00, which means a couple of hours later would be high tide at Cushman. I wonder what the river crested at there?

Good thing I didn't need to go to the Valley today!

Yeah,,all that air you let out yer tires for the off roady stuff,,

you'll be sorry now!
but,
If you pump in a couple hunnert pounds of air,, yer bike will fairly float on deeper water.
Depends how heavy your bike is,, for the KLR I run 190 front, and 200 to 210 rear. It isn't enuff to float the bike, but it makes water crossings a breeze, and should help considerably with flood riding scenarios.
You can stop in your local Safeway where they blow up the birthday and hospital balloons, and have them gas yer tires with Helium! ride right across that trickle of water!
I mean ,,come on,, the Mohawk River only gets to act up once or twice a year,,build yer house on stilts, and go with it,,celebrate the freedom of the river!

Play on the river, but never play with the river, or was that play with mother nature?

Looking for it all to come through my back yard. I'm next to the Willamette, but not in a flood plain. In 96 Corvallis was sandbagging and I still had another 15 ft to go.

Keep yer finger in the dike up there. Can you say that in Eugene?
