I may be in if it's a street bike ride. Still haven't saved up enough beer cans to pick up a KLR

K herezadeal. If the weather guessers don't miss by too far. I'm up for piloting the Battlestar up to Harbicks then over the Aufderhiede to Oakite Ridge then road 23 to 21 to 2153 to 2154 to 2610 to 138 to 38 to Canton cr rd to Sharps cr or 23 to 21 to 2102 to 5850 to 22 or something like you know...whatever we do there needs to be a cap on the velocity as it is still gun totin/beer drinking season in the woods and as you know I had to load one friend into a meat wagon last week and I damn sure don't want to do that again anytime soon.

The 555ers are going to be at Harbicks between 0930-1000 so we need to clear the tuck by 0830ish

Are we talking Sat or Sun? Weather guessers now have Sat as the better of the two.

Right now, the three weather guessers at my disposal have both days at about 50% chance of rain. Actually one says 60% and the other says 40% for Sat. Go figger.

Here we go. It's crapshoot time. I'm open for either day so state your preferences...

If your talkin to me.......You would be talking Sunday, because it already has "SUN" in the title. I'm busy reoganizing my sock drawer on Saturday and that schedule is set in stone.

That decides it for me. I'm much happier following than leading...

weather or not...

Hey I'm from the government and here to help... nope still can't say it with a straight face.

This is the weather I'm packing for:

RAIN WILL RETURN TO SOUTHWEST WASHINGTON AND NORTHWEST OREGON FRIDAY AS THE FIRST IN A SERIES OF FALL FRONTS MOVES INTO THE REGION. THE FIRST FRONTAL SYSTEM WILL GIVE LIGHT AMOUNTS OF RAIN TO THE AREA WITH RAIN CONTINUING AT TIMES ON SATURDAY TEMPERATURES WILL BE SEASONABLE WITH THE SNOW LEVEL ABOVE ALL BUT THE HIGHEST PEAKS. A SUBTROPICAL MOISTURE CONNECTION...CALLED AN ATMOSPHERIC RIVER...WILL FEED ADDITIONAL MOISTURE ACROSS WESTERN WASHINGTON AND OREGON SUNDAY AND MONDAY. IT IS LIKELY THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST WILL SEE HEAVY RAIN FROM THESE SYSTEMS. HEAVY RAIN IS MOST LIKELY TO IN WESTERN WASHINGTON AND FAR NORTHWEST OREGON SUNDAY NIGHT AND MONDAY MORNING. THERE IS A POSSIBILITY THAT RAINFALL TOTALS FOR FRIDAY THROUGH MONDAY COULD REACH AS HIGH AS 5 TO 8 INCHES IN THE CASCADES...3 TO 5 INCHES IN THE CASCADE FOOTHILLS AND OREGON COAST RANGE...WITH UP TO 2 INCHES IN THE VALLEY AND GORGE. HOWEVER...IF THE JET STREAM REMAINS A LITTLE FARTHER NORTH...RAINFALL WILL BE MUCH LESS IN NORTHWEST OREGON AND SOUTHWEST WASHINGTON. THE MAIN IMPACT OF THESE STORMS WILL BE RAIN...BUT THE COAST...COAST RANGE AND HIGH CASCADES MAY EXPERIENCE STRONG GUSTY WINDS WITH SOME OF THE STRONGER STORMS LATER IN THE WEEKEND AND EARLY NEXT WEEK. STRONGEST GUSTS COULD REACH 50 TO 65 MPH FOR THE COAST RANGE AND COASTAL HEADLANDS. TREES DURING THIS STORM WILL BE MORE SUSCEPTIBLE TO BREAKING LIMBS DUE TO THE PREVIOUS PROLONGED PERIOD OF DRY WEATHER. WITH CONTINUED UNCERTAINTY IN THE FORECAST FOR THIS PERIOD...ALL AREAS SHOULD CONTINUE MONITORING FORECAST UPDATES AS SPECIFICS WILL LIKELY CHANGE. BE PREPARED FOR WET FALL WEATHER...RAINY CONDITIONS PRODUCING LOCALIZED URBAN FLOODING FROM CLOGGED DRAINAGES...AND TREE DAMAGE FROM GUSTY WINDS.

Depending on how far south the front is I might be working in 5-8 inches of rain and 65 mph winds. I'll be hateing it all the way to the bank!
