Free burgers

Are they any good?

Here's what I had to deal with tonight for dinner:

It was alright I suppose ABTs & the pork roast are for a Halloween/margarita party tomorrow at work. Salmon for dinner...snausages because they were on clearance at Freddies & I hadn't tried smoking any of those yet.

I probably should have went to Cycle Gears Bike Night tonight. But Nooooooo! instead Monkey wife, My dad and I loaded up in my pickup and took a nice mellow little drive...all innocent and stuff......I have no idea what happened but all of a sudden two Honda Trail 90's and a bunch of cardboard boxes of parts jumped into the back of the truck and followed us home.....Now dad has another winter project..... no pics other than a shitty cellphone pic that ain't worth posting.

tblume...you were correct. I hit said Pacific Pride on my way into work this morning...pulled up to the premium pump and....no ethanol sticker! I whipped out my fleet card and the killer drank 5.2gals. I'll bet the last .6 gals still in the tank was made up mostly of the water from the other crap-gas I've been getting at the Brownsville Chevron.

There WAS one sticker on the premium pump at PPride. It read...."For Exempt Use Only". I can't WAIT for some badge-heavy dipstick to pull in right as I'm sticking the nozzle into the killer and, faced with having to now wait to fill his patrol vehicle....feel like he..."needs to advise me of the restricted status of that fuel". Oh yeah....it'll happen.

Another trip up and over Shotgun last night on the ride home. The go-home commute is now up to 2hrs and I'm smiling the whole way home! I even got close to getting stuck in some red clay mud and had it allllllll over the scooter. I saw what looked like a large area of shallow mud and said..."I'm a dirt noob...I should ride through that."
(damn this rain for washing it off on the way in this morning...I wanted to show it off to whichever of you feller's were flickin' me sh_t over having such a clean machine a short time ago)

...since it's all about ME....

I needs me some a dem lights! The ride home after last night's meeting....Gap Rd....very dark...about 2mi outside of B'Ville...came around a corner and there were SIX deer in a single file line standing....not walking...standing across the road. I frequently scan out to the very edge of my lights and caught an eyeball reflection from one of 'em so I was able to drop speed fast enough. I literally rolled to a stop about 20yds from them and not a one of 'em so much as moved until I shouted at them. If I had been a cage one or three of 'em woulda got smeared. I think it's safe to say I can be logged as wanting two of the exact light that was at the meeting last night. Is this going to go forward as a 'group buy' like peterman suggested?

The ride in this morning was "blustery". Only saw one other motorcycle....an EPD motor officer (he didn't wave back...the sh_tbird). My gear 'mostly' worked with the gale force wind and torrential rain I had up near B'Ville....which leads me to a request and I'm turning to you guys for suggestions...

I'm not all that happy with the Tourmaster jacket I bought. Fortunately (it turns out) at the time of purchase, I didn't have the $'s to also buy the pants, so I went the cheap route and picked up some Tourmaster rain pants. Those work but offer no fall-down protection. Now it's getting towards colder during the AM ride to work and I need to buy some riding pants. I'm not feeling like spending money towards the matching Tourmaster pants 'cuz I intend to replace the jacket eventually. I'll be wearing them over a pair of pants for work, which means they don't have to come with a liner. So, if anyone who feels like it would post or PM me a suggestion on riding pants you have experience with, it would be appreciated.

Not required- same pricing. He's got a paypal account for the business, just call and order as you like.
