Yep, cold out there. Ice on the deck, snow still in the shadows.

Still hope to see y'all at the Old Pad tomorrow...

exposure,, that'll help,,and you owe me a beer by the way!,,!

Your first beer is on me.

For all those interested in lights I am placing my order tomorrow for the 4 bulb LED units. I will be at the OP tonight to chat about it if anyone has questions. Price is $38 per light + $10 (per person) shipping/customs fee (they are considered car parts so I get taxed by US fed-ex customs) I don't continue to charge the shipping fee on each purchase, so if you buy some now and more later, you have already put in your $10 towards the "recovery pot" as I like to call it.

Total cost - 1st pair = $86

2nd pair = $76

Thank you to everyone who has made a purchase and those who are leaning towards it. My goal is 2 more orders by next year than with any luck I can afford to buy a bunch of stock and keep this ball rolling. Looking forward to seeing you all tonight and doing some damage on the cooked chicken leg population.

Good meetup last night!

Didn't get around to say howdy to everyone, but it was good to see so many smiling faces last night!

Would have stayed longer but.... Mrs. V-Duck got a phone call and came back to the table visibly upset. On the way home she tells me the call was from daughter #1 in Boston. She lost the brand new iPhone we just got her. We are not happy campers.

At home we reflect on all she has been through the last few months. Car stolen, lost bus pass, run-ins with a certain professor, a dog that either is getting revenge for being left alone so much or is sick--she's peeing everywhere, including the boyfriend's bed and leather couch, etc. etc....

A couple hours later she calls again. Found the iPhone. Sigh.

Merry Christmas, everyone!

To each their own, I love working outside. Though I will admit to loving it a little less when I'm laying in mud, under a concrete slab fixing a broken water pipe. Today was spectacular and the Crack and Thump of branches coming out of the Firs kept my spidery senses tingling. Made me feel alive and aware

Hope springs eternal....I just lubed and re-connected my unexpectedly dis-connected speedo cable.....by MYSELF!
I decided NOT to 'trust my instruments' on the ride in....it said '0' but stuff was whizzing by so I knew otherwise. (I'm friggen SMART.....gonna re-think the planned pitch and yaw guage purchases now)

Hyperlite 'Monsoon' switch ordered....gonna at least try to hang the LED's on the Killer on Sunday if the water'd stop falling. Might even do the wiring my-own bad-self when the switch arrives.

"Big deal" you say?......"baby steps to mechanical independence" I say.

anyone need a phrannis valve checked.....no....wait
