Dan I was checking out this build....while roaming around looking at pictures he little Knuck popped up. I am going to keep an eye on this guy. I have watched his other RTW trips on his sportbike in the past. He is beyond hard core.

I finally had a chance to lock myself in my shop and work on the XRL Auxiliary Light Project . It took a lot longer than it should have because I'm a bit anal with small details and the "hydration Beers" got a bit carried away.

With the use of a relay and a three position waterproof switch I have a couple options for control. Switch in one position the LED lights are on as long as the key is on. Switch in position two the LED lights are off. Switch in position three the LED lights come on with the High Beam Headlight. With that option I can run the non-DOT flame throwers on the highway and douse them by hitting the oem dimmer switch.

Now it is time for extensive durability testing.......

there is a water retention factor with all them bubbly fizzes.
You might concentrate on more refined(distilled) libations to lessen the impact of caloric intake vs. water retention,,just sayin,,,the more I drink whiskey,,the thinner I get!

I finally had so time to install a couple items. The lights were first

I had a bit of a wire mess that needed to be straighten out

I had purchased a Vapor a few months ago, didn't like the stock mount, so I made a custom one

bolted it in

installed the temp and tack sensors

fired it up

Now is the time to ride, anyone want to join me?

Excellent post and they look great ! Please run them a lot and bang em up good. You all get the introductory rate for a reason...TEST DUMMIES..LOL. If there are any issues at all please let me know. I will get on it right away.
