Your little carbon based time consumer keeping you anchored at home isn't a bad thing. I've stood in your shoes. Mine grew up and moved to Japan. I am blown away at how fast that happened. If things work out and you can make it, saddle up and join us.

Sunday is an out for me...probably good anyway with the big beemer. You all have fun, ride fast and stay safe.

I called the gas station in Yachats today to make sure they would be open Sunday. Yes they have gas between 0700 and 1800 Sunday.

Due to the distance and remoteness of the area we will be travelling through, the Logistics to retrieve one of us is a P.I.T.A. That being said Make sure you have what you need and your bike is ready. Knobbies are not necessary but do help reduce the number of sphincter clenching moments. Although I have ridden my GS on most of this route it is a lot more fun on a smaller bike. Weather is looking dry and cold so it should be great. Sunrise is at 0750 and Sunset is at 1645.

Lier. Unless you can poop out roll charts, that route's all in your mind.

G gave me bumpy tires for the katoom, DR clutch is adjusted loose (fingers crossed) and Peterman has his KLR together by now; I'm planning on being at the monkey ranch by 9 with peter and bikes- Ryan's volunteered as guinea pig for the DR shakedown pilot, i'll bring spares and tools this time...
