Am thinking of buying a bike every three years or so. crashing it then buying something different at almost zero loss to me from now on.

The Speed Triple was too rashed up to be worth buying and putting back together, almost every piece of plastic on the Sprint exploded after the deer strike, and the mechanic at Cycle Parts told me not to buy the Vstrom back as it probably ran w/o much oil in it when it was face-planted in the ditch plus that bike felt bent the last two times I rode it. I'm taking the winter off from buying and if I wanna ride I can always 'borrow' G-Funk's 640 that blume has had in his garage for the last few years.

I am told there is a new parking /staging area at Shotgun OHV, new improvements to trails, new potties, think I'd like to ride the Zuki up that way to check it out,,

,,,,the bike, not the trails,,
Y'all stand by yer phones and be ready to bring a rescue rig,,I'll flag somebody down who has a phone if I die up there.

yep!

bigger, improved parking area, new toilets, new signage, told some improvements on the trails in some of the muddy spots, but I didn't ride them cuz I don't yet have a sticker on the bike.
Didn't go up to the Cascade View OHV launch area, but it has been upgraded as well, so the riders said. Only bad part would be meeting the quads on the skinny trails,,everyone said the trails were pretty muddy with the rain, needs to dry out some for my skill level, gonna tackle the beginner's loop at Cascade View for a warm up, then some 'blue' trails.
Met with one young fellow who had dropped his Yammy on a rock, and just barely hit the very edge of his bashplate, right at the water pump cover,,knocked the drain plug out of the cover. His first time up there, rode for an hour then biffed it. if his bash plate were a half inch taller,,,,,
