Is it on the horizon, or way over the horizon, in a different time zone?

We got nothing still. They haven't even touched the lines on the ground.

We get our electric service from a small Upper Valley Coop: Hood River Electric Cooperative.

They are soooo awesome in getting our power back VERY fast the very few times it's gone out. The big ice storm 2 years ago had us knocked out for......about an hour....maybe two.....even in the middle of the night.

They don't do the environmental study first, or even need the Board of Directors to approve the OT. They just get the phonecall, redirected from the Office to whomevers "on call" at HOME, and they just fuckin go fix it......and then go back to bed

Just down the road, seriously about one mile from here, they get service from Pacific Power & Light. They were out of power for 4 days. PP&L's big trucks were all over, "eye-fucking" the situation (as LWW put it). Up the road, down the road......Then they brought some more trucks out, then went away, then came back in a day or two.......

I strike my fist upon my chest,,and lightning shoots forth in every direction!

I AM the power!
I glare at uncooked meat,, and it scalds itself into edible form out of sheer fright!
I cause mountains to hold vast areas frozen, so that I may have ice in my drink!

I'm still working on controlling the winds,,lean over on one cheek, and squeeze one out!

Go to www.EPUD.com. Click on outage info, Then go to "my home" and updates....or something like that. It has all the Twitter and Links to the facebook updates......one thing I learned on there is there are some helpless whiny ass people out there. One woman demanded her power be restored right now because her pets and children were dying. Probably couldn't feed them without the Microwave.
