I'm guessing Walmart?

Yesterday my 650 Bandit was rear ended by some moron at the lights. Dealer thinks it's bad enough for my insurance company to write off. If they do, he has a new left over '09 ABS 1250. This may happen. Frankly, I am pretty happy with the 650 though.

MFW Vario Footpeg Mount for the Bandit

I have a question for all of you Bandit owners:

Have any of you used the MFW Vario Adjustable footpeg mounts?

http://mfw-wolf.de/en/products/motor...v&marke=Suzuki

I was wondering if any of you tried this product to obtain a longer seat-to-footpeg distance to make your Bandit more comfortable on long trips.

I'm getting set to take a cross-country trip on my 2000 Bandit 600 in July and my primary concern is my height (6'4") and the fact that my long legs get pretty cramped after a few hundred miles.

Thanks!

Aarrgh! That sucks. I've been really, really happy with my 650 ABS Bandit.

Buy it back and put a new rear end on it. Lots of squids crash the GSX650Fs and you can get the parts fairly cheap.

After trying to like my Zero Gravity Sport Touring screen, I went back to stock today. The wind noise is so much better. Apparently, I am a slow learner!

Another FA question:
Where in the exhaust system is the cat? Is it integral to the canister, or in the collector under the engine? Does buying an aftermarket can mean ditching the cat?

The cat is in the header after the collector right ahead of where the muffler clamps on. Relatively easy to gut if your inclined to do so...I did on my 1250 and now pipe doesnt turn brown after a long ride.

Thanks. I'd want to keep the cat but have the option to use an aftermarket can.
