Swelling's going down and I should be out of the house tomorrow. It'll be a couple of weeks before I get full range of motion back and I won't ride soft ice again.

down but not out on a painkiller tuesday

If you had rebuilt that fork properly it would have tracked where you wanted it...

Yep knees suck. Mine often remind me these days of all the stuff I did to them in years gone by. Who needs pics when the knees remember?

Thanks all, I'll be fine but will be looking into some better knee braces while it heals. Good news is it's not to hard for me to work from home. Feet up and a bed full of drawings to price.

I'm going to try and make it outside for a couple of pints tonight. Damn codine sure makes a mess of regularity.

buzzin along

Drink lots and lots of water. That stuff dries your shit right out and can put you in serious trouble.

If I hadn't taken a right turn with a modified Left Only tire it would have tracked much better. I might have gotten a little lazy as well. It was kinda warm to be dressed as warm as I was but it's always hard to guess. That and the throttle was set on kill.

Oh well, better luck next time Eh.

the older I get, the faster I was

That was Icetopia . Conditions you could only dream of.

Where is this Disney Land? No snow banks to steal my knees away. No painful plowing sessions, dodging the plow truck or that blowing whiteshit.

on my knees

I am not sure, I found that in DARTH PEACH'S ride report.. The second last page.. I thought it was pretty freaking cool.. I am not a fan of the "egg" oval racing but that looked more fun..

Hey, Guys!
We have some new intereting developments up here in the near north.

Robbie O. has secured a PRIVATE lake, solely for the purpose of Ice Riding Motorcycles.

I was there on Friday checking out the layout, and it's perfect! NO sled access what-so-ever, so our track won't be screwed up by sledders.

I was in there today with a front end loader, and opened up a roadway RIGHT TO THE ICE and a few "executive" parking spots.

The rain we are going to get this week will level out the snow, and re-freeze into suitable ice for this weekend. (hopefully)
I am also going to look at a 48" snowblower for the front of my ATV this week, which will help maintain the track when it snows!!

I will keep everyone up to date on this weekends schedule.....
