It wasn't Muskoka

But there's nothing like having the Canadian Super Bike Champion lay out the ice twisties. It took all afternoon to get the hang of it again and the only mishap worth mentioning was jrcool trying to go swimming in the pits . It didn't help his chances for a comfortable day but he rode his new bike without incident. That's something for a 9year old.

Now you all know I love my DRZ but OMFG those 450MX bikes are loaded guns. Thanks for the laps RobbieO. The snap is unbeleivable and the fresh tires allow for some sick lean angles. Now if I can only get my bike to act the same I might be able to ride more than 5 laps at a time.

How did the helmet cam work? I want some of the video.

ride ride ride

Thanks for that update, sounded like an awesome time.
How are the new tires workin out for your bike?

Spent 3 hours rebuilding my front yesterday afterall . I am pretty happy with it, getting some tubes today i hope.

Hope to see you all on the next ice day.

Hey Buddy we missed you out there.

My tires are light years ahead of last year with much room for improvement. The coaching was awsome as well. Jordans Dad is a wealth of tips. If I could get my thick head around some of the info it will make me faster. Backin it in isn't as easy as it looks but it is getting more controllable.

not passing yet

Danm rechargable batteries cacked out before I got on the track.

And then Jordan got on his bike, left the pits, entered the track and rapidly changed the order of things.

Actually, he was watching my "technique"
He had me follow him after that for a few laps, so I could watch his, then he pulled me over to give me shit for looking back, then gave me some tips on "giving it gas" then he left me in a cloud of ice chips...

So when do we go again cause I've got some tuning to do? Move some screws around and do a little more sharpening cause my fat ass can't catch you this year.

I hope we can keep Shane out of the pond this time. We managed to find him a decent enduro coat with all the armour at the show. Not that I've been worried about him crashing but his Chest Protector can't be comfortable. This thing is stylin and I have been looking for a while.

We need a supplier for some of the good screws as well. I would guess 1" for front and 1 1/2 rear. Maybe you can confirm with the pro's. That and some more old 17's may be in order if this season keeps up with cold temps and good ice.

just screwin around

We gonna be seeing you out there this year Lornce

How about this weekend guys
Sucks that i missed it, but just rebuilt my front after all that off and on about five times.
Here's my new front. Any tips guys?

Used all but about 30 from the old tire, there's about 500 screws in this one. Oh, and i resharpened EVERY one on the bench grinder.

Well, that's not too bad at all.

Next time, quit making him use a pedal bike to follow you...
