Great you're both welcome here anytime. By the way I have just opened a work shop on my parking compound. The mechanic is Santiago who used to work for BMW and later as the workshop manager for Suzuki. He knows what he's doing and work on most bikes at very favorable prices!

I'd have to ask around. What do you need and I'll find out?

No unfortunately the cargo plane arrived Friday night, so we where not able to be there for the strapping down the bike on the pallet, so the shipping agent thought it was best to pack it well
Total price Cali-Miami including shipping agent, transport to airport, a mechanic to go with us in the cargo terminal (a requirement now from anti-narcotic police, because they found cocaine in the tank of two harley's) and the flight = U$1600 dollars with Centurium. But its cheaper with Arrow Airline U$1400 but they only fly once a week, which would mean Mike missed Daytona bike week ;-)

Mike,

I bypassed Cali via San Agustin to Pasto. My extra helmet will have to stay with you for awhile. Feel free to lend it out. It may be awhile before I see Cali again.

Thanks for your help and hospitality,

jeff

No worries, I'll keep it for your return. Great to hear the route San Agustin/Pasto is ride-able again. I just came back from a 7-day ride around southern Colombia with a client.
