DO NOT attempt to turn the sprocket bolts. Crack the nut loose FIRST with a box wrench and then unthread the bolt.

I'm a mechanic by trade so I could see how non-knowers could really screw up the bolt heads

rear shock top mount offset

anyone come across this before ?
can the shock move on the top mount for some reason ?

yes side to side, its a spherical bearing, up and down no, but also look at the bolt, the bolt wears a groove...sometimes you can get away with just replacing the bolt

now,is it much of a job to replace ?
I'm guessing its a press fit,if I was to send the shock away for a service and re-valving would the bearing replacement generally be included.
