I did this also per CW. You ever cut the oil line itself to see what the inside diameter is?

Anyone looking for some OE wheels? I just came into some XRE600 OE wheels. A front and two rears. Rears are disc type.

And a XR400 oil cooler!!

I thought I'd throw it out here in XR land.

PM me.

Just found the spark plug on this beast.

Great placement, Soichiro.

Thanks.

It's a Hemi. Where do you expect it to be?

More accessible would've been nice.

In other news, when I bought the bike, the seller gave me an 80 x 120 tire mounted on a 21" rim. Will that fit my 88?

I've had to resort to a piece of fuel line (about 6" long) pushed over the tip of the plug to allow easy installation of the plug, can't do it w/out one, too far down in there for my fingers...

Throttle reducer

I had bought piece of aluminum from thumper racing 15 years ago. I am trying to find that piece now. It goes on the throttle cable wheel on the side of the carb. It is used to give a smooth transition off idle. It changed the ratio of the slide in the carb. Any suggestions?

I was thinking of the same thing myself. I have a TM40 and on the long rides it really gets hard to hold the throttle! Post some pics when you finish!

How about a "throttle tamer" throttle tube? Does the same thing, from the other end of the throttle cable(s)....

Can one of you guys tell me what that piece on the end of my exhaust is? It was on the bike when I bought it.

In other news, I cleaned up the front sprocket that looked like it was leaking. We then did about 40 miles or so to see if we could tell for sure where the leak was coming from.

After our ride, it was dry. No leak!
