White brothers power up kit

I recently bought a XR600R engine that had a "white brothers power up kit" installed some years ago.
I got a full whitebrothers exhaust, its 654cc, its supposed to have a different cam, i dont know much else about it.
I have tried to google it but i cant find any more info and i was hoping that
you xr-fanatics can enlighten me!

All that i know is that the kit was pricey, and the engine is supposed to be a monster :)

May shed some light on WHAT you have....

NICE! What kind of range do you have with the stock tank?

I want to say we can go maybe 55 miles on average. Not to bud in, but I filled up to the top, drove to school 14.5 miles away (according to google maps) back and forth.... then I went to school again and on the way home I went sputter sputter put put and hit reserve about 5 miles from my house so I got off the freeway. How far can we go on reserve? By the way I was going 65mph in the slow lane drafting behind pick up trucks never passing anyone unless it was a semi-truck. I gotta get me a bigger tank!

How's the fork brace feel? Do you think a super newb would feel the difference?

Big Tank

How big a tank are you looking for? I have an Acerbis 5.8 gallon like this one for sale. Includes both petcocks.

YIKES only 55 miles..I guess I'm spoiled with my Acerbis tank and it's 200 mile range You DO NEED a bigger tank.
As far as the fork brace, you will feel the difference cornering on the highway at speeds and on rough terrain. It's much more stable.

THAT's exactly whats he needs. I love mine, and once you ride with it for a while on the bike you hardly notice it's bigger.

Haven't had the chance to test it out properly. Maybe coming week.

What I did notice from the short rainy-stalled-by-farm-traffic-ride was that I could twitch it over faster. Feels like there was less delay from turning the steering, to the bike actually tilting into the bend. Also with switching changing direction from corner one to the next it felt more responsive, again less delay or lagg.. My English is not good enough to exactly point out what I feel.. Maybe my native speaker buddy can help me out.. (haven't seen deejay in a while..)

Has anyone ever tried or seen a DR650/400 32 litre Safari tank grafted onto an XR ?. Any ideas if it would fit?
I'll be wanting more fuel in the future. Got a few XR pics and info to post when I get the chance. Rooster.

I'm getting about 40mpg on my XL87 (not XR88 as I first thought). It's kinda tired, so I figure a better one should get 50mpg. My tank will need to go on reserve anywhere from 70 to 90 miles & then takes 2.4 gal on fillup. I don't go too far (10miles was the longest) before filling up.

Steve: How much for one of your bigger tanks?

And on another note: Does anyone have a set of bag racks for soft bags? They don't have to be pretty.

Dang that's a beautiful shot. Badass lookin bike, too! Looks almost as if you air-lifted the bike onto the dirt because there's no tire mark lol. My problem is I want my bike to look like everyone else's bike on here. You all have some great looking bikes. I just need to shut up and be happy.
Mine basically looks stock with some red brush gaurds. Stock looking R model with a plate.
What items do you usually take with you AlaskaJeff? Just tools? or is that camping stuff as well?

Edit: Check out this stupid crap: Go a page back though and read what I wrote..... Please don't think i'm starting a political discussion on weed beacuse I'm not. I don't really have anything against it, i just don't want to be around it.
