I have got to re-think my priorities! I need to get into this game. All these tags, know most of them, got good ones in my mind, but I just can't find the time....

This is the only one I've known so far. I should go but I want to get some metal to build a welding table.

Associated Press - December 19, 2008 10:35 AM ET

SUFFOLK, Va. (AP) - The only car access to Lake Drummond in the Great Dismal Swamp and Wildlife Refuge is reopening next week after being closed for two years.

Refuge officials plan to reopen Railroad Ditch on Monday. The gated entrance has been closed for habitat management and a wildfire that swept through parts of the refuge last summer.

Only 12 free passes will be available daily to drive to Lake Drummond. Passes can be obtained at the refuge headquarters Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.

I know you guys can do it

Grab!

Jamestown Scotland Ferry across the James River, can be accessed by Rolf Highway in Surry and Jamestown road in Jamestown. Both are Route 31. The ferry ride is free, takes about 15 minutes to get across and runs daily.

Nice ride out today, although quite breezy. Enjoyed the temps though for sure. My wife tagged along on this one. Lunch over at the Green Leafe Cafe was shortly following this photo. Then we went to????????

Tag!

New tag for everyone! Come and Get It!

A simple white cross marks the grave of @50 unknown French soliders killed during the Battle of Yorktown. The paved trail to get here is off of a road that waves the white flag.

Thanks for the great information!! The wifey and I rode our bikes back here once geo-caching. We saw some wild otters on the way out. Very Cool place indeed, really nice to kayak through the Feeder Ditch to the lake as well. Riding there......welll do I really need to say how cool that will be.

Good morning all, it's 12:26 AM and I just pulled in. Guess where I was? Well should I say where was B.E. Coyote and I? Well, we could not get in to the Grave Marker so we took some pics from around the gate entrance. We will put up the new tag pics in the morning. Goodnight everybody.

History:
"This simple cross is thought to mark the burial place of about 50 unidentified French soldiers killed during the Siege of Yorktown."
Located on Surrender Field, a scenic drive at Yorktown, Va. This piece of history is a marker of those that fought in this battle in 1781. Now, all that remains is this memorial and our remembrance.
