This past weekend Highbinder took a trip with a bunch of buddies..
Ya know an all fella ride..

Down in to MidTN...

So I stay home and held down the fort...
I kept busy ... Friday I took my vacuum to sears for repair(still under warranty) Stuck it on the back of the bike strapped it down and away I go...

I love the crazy looks I get...

I did a little X-mas shopping...

Then came back home just in time to do my chores .. Let the Cattle in the driveway .. Gave them feed... locked everything up....

LOL that night the Attack cat growls about 3 am ?? WTF .. I have my hand one of my favorite weapons.. And listen to what has her Growling ... She is still grumbling and starring at the window... I hear the noise ... LOL it's the coon family

.. Thank Goodness I didn't blow a hole in the wall....

Saturday I think what should I get in to to take up the time....

Work in the garden and put it to bed .. Replace the commode ... Stain the deck..... I chose the later...

This is a before .. Well OK it's a few years old.. Before the bear pulled the lattice off... I still need to find more and replace it...

Well I started to stain it with Thompson water seal California RedWood ..
The stuff kept eating my applicators !!!

. Yes I had gloves on I went though at 20 pair ...

I didn't like how a brush was working .. SO I jumped on the Valk and rode to the store and got more tools to apply this stiff on ...

The deck used 4 gals !!!! And I didn't really finish .. But it's done for now...
I will need to do the lattice and the part by the kitchen door...

I like the colour ...
I just hope when I get more stuff the colour will be close...

Also on a side note .. The 4 gals had froze as it was 2 yrs old

and yes it was lumpy But hey it's just stain with colour not really paint...

The past weekend was just grand .. And I did get a few miles in ...

I'll get to work on my RR's ..
I know I keep saying that ..

It has the year we moved to this place on it too 10/31/05..

I have had the name since 1972 .... It's the Farm named I use to show my horses under... And it was also the name of the family store...

Some of you know that I have been looking for metal kitchen cabinets..
I did find some but I need a few more a couple lowers and a few more uppers...
And still want a 72" castiron sink ...

Well a few weeks ago... I was cleaning the corner of the kitchen.. I moved a huge table that was in this corner.. And my native woman , was against the wall.. I took some thing to the shop and I hear a crash!!

As I'm walking with my hands full ,I say to self that didn't sound good..

I get back to the kitchen only to find the woman fell !!! She had about 500 shells on top of her... They were scattered all over the kitchen and many broke

..
The woman was fine !!

But our cats kitty box had broken her fall... Thank goodness ScooterCat wasn't in the box at the time..

Well it ~~crushed~~ Cracked her old box..

I was going to get one of the cool boxes with the plant on top..But HB & I just didn't like the opening.. And I was also looking at the NEW Booda Dome..
But we like the entrance of our old box..

The old box was a BoodaBox from 25 yrs ago.. Yes made very well...Heck only the top cracked .. And it stayed in use til I found a new one..

It was hard to find the same shape box.. They have to go up and in...
Nice and private... Well after a week of searching I found a look a like

.. This one is made in Italy... I think it looks good.. ANd was 30 bucks...

Oh and my woman weights about 200 lbs...

P.S.. I was shocked just how much kitty box had gotten !!!

It's a big long deck....

And Rick... Carol doesn't need to stand to stain a deck

And yeah yeah I know it's a porch.. A big long deck, just rolls off the tongue so much better ...
