OK I finally took a pic
Of the All home made Ice Cream sandwich ..

Now what you can't see is there are 2 stripes of fudge in the ice cream.
Like Mud Bars.. Oh I have also used Chocolate ice Cream as well..

I use Honey in my Ice Cream and Vanilla beans..
I have the outer chocolate part down now...

OHG theses things are so dang good

I make a doz at a time... And wrap them is saran wrap...

The great thing is I can use ww flour

So I try to make then some what healthy with all whole foods...

In the summer a few nights a week we ride to Belfast Va. For The Super Stop and Hot Rod cafe ..

On Tuesday night they have Hot Rod sing off...
After 8 weeks they pick a winner and that person gets a recording contract ... How cool is that...

The photos are from one of the big weekend nights that they have a live band..
The Benny Wilson band .. This 60+ yr Benny Wilson really put on a cool show ... This fella could sing ....

I don't think this dude liked me taking his pic ...

Not a huge crowd ... But it's free .. We ride and sit on the bikes...

The owner Robby built a dance floor .. And let me tell ya ..
They always have folks dancing ..

A few other bikes showed up ...

We have watched this little boy grow up over the 5 yrs...
That's his Mom and Dad dancing with him...

Benny did 3 sets .. That made for a long evening...

He did a Michael Jackson impersonation that was a hoot...

Then it really got wild ... There was even table dancing going on...

Highbinder and I like to support our local hang out ...
It's 36 miles away.. They sell 100% gas only... And it's something to do mid week...And weekends when we are home...
Oh did I mention it's free...

Most of July was doing just that.. And farm work...
Aug.. We had Visitors !!!

I posted up the recipe
For those who would like it..

I'll type down the creamy icecream and the fudge recipe..

1 cup White whole wheat flour
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
Dash of salt
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) unsalted butter
1-1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips (use the best you can get )
2/3 cup Raw sugar or mix it with brown sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Bake @ 325* For 8-10 min... And tap down the puffiness during baking...

Happy ThanksGiving!!!!

I did my 3 days of cooking .. So I didn't have to work my butt off today...

I started off on Tuesday with this .. The Locals call it a Pamelon

I used it in place of a Pumpkin..

I cut it up then boil it then peel and mash it up..During the peeling it's a good time to taste it.. And see how it is ...

Then pull out 2+ C of the mashed Pamelon and add your spices, brownsugar,milk,eggs..Mix well..

Make your pie crust.. And pour the puree in it..

Bake for a little over and hour...

I had more pie crust left as my recipe makes 2 crusts.. So I made a French coconut custard too...

Wed I worked on stuffing ,and veggies,and my candied yams...

We had our morning snacks .. Oops I forgot to take a pic of the Shrimp cocktail and Deviled eggs.. Oh well ya know what they look like..
I didn't get really fancy this year .. Just kept it simple..

Then we had a little Trace with a splash

I even kept supper simple this year.. Highbinder had him self all the goodies..

I had a treat for supper ..1 cluster of Crab Legs.. That I didn't finish

Oh there was Pie...

Our friend is staying with us for a few days..

It was the first time we sat in the living room and had our Feast while watching Football..

It was a very nice ThanksGiving day/night...We are very grateful for what we
have in both friends and perversions...And our way of life...

This was tonight's sunset ..... I thought it was very fitting...

I think the furkid has had her fill of Turkey for now ....

I really hope everyone has had a wonderful ThanksGiving....
