So, is MS still burning?
How was Cheaha? Nice pics, but it looks like the weather could have been better.

That's kinda funny. Basically a real short trip. Slab to Auburn, camp, backroads to Desoto, camp, morning around Little River, slab home. Went through lots of rain but it made for some really good waterfalls. Nice temps just a little wet. Going during the week in inclement weather translates to no traffic. We should go sometime.

Nano, anytime you want to ride as long as it's the weekend. I did change my gearing so I can ride at 80mph all day long.
Forrest, who's got a BMW? I like this pic better

Another one bites the dust
Well, I had a rude awakening today in Theodore. I went to the only dirt trails around south Mobile County & after 4hrs I was waved over by a Sheriff. He was very nice and informed me that I could no longer ride out there because it was private property of Regions Bank. WTF!
I guess I should be glad I got to ride there for the past 3 years before the swap tired quad fuck sticks got it closed. The Sheriff had pics of how the land was being destroyed by quads digging trenches everywhere. So, for those of you that know the local riding areas, that means there is offically NO WHERE left to ride offroad. I'm so glad I have a tag on my bike. I guess I'll be riding MS & FL alot more often. Good Bye forever Theodore. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

let's ride dang'it
Short notice, but if anybody wants to join me. I plan to ride over to P'cola in the morning & help scout out trails in Blackwater. I'll be riding my KLX/DRZ the whole way there & back, so if somebody wants to join me just let me know.

Looking for places to ride
There use to be hundreds of dirt miles to ride in Baldwin county. Start by looking for IP and old Scott Paper land. For example, I see some pics of Stockton Stage Coach event a few pages back with what looks like Rice Creek landing. If you follow Hwy 59 North pass Stockton to a small town called Latham you can find a piece of land owned by Forever Wild (used to be Kimberly Clark/Scott) that is on the gas line. There are roads and trials that run all the way to the Mobile river around Mt. Vernon. Forever Wild bought alot of the swamp land all through Northern Baldwin river delta. Not sure what is still availible to ride on but I have rode for hours and hours on dirt in that area before without seeing pavement.
