I'm getting ready to sell a bunch of pro/live audio equipment and musical instruments and would like to offer my fellow Richmond area motorcycling brethren first crack at it before I go the dreaded CL way.

PM if you want prices. No pics yet, I've just gotten the ball rolling on this thing I've been talking about for 5 years. My desire to own a DRZ400e as well as my wife's desire to quit looking at this stuff collecting dust in the back room has lit a fire under my a$$. All together, this stuff will fetch about $2700.

My nephew was looking for a bigger/better amp for his bass around Christmas time. I don't know if he ever found one. Will any of these be something he would be looking for??

If I change my gear ratio from 14/40 to 13/43 will I get better performance off the line? Do I need to adjust the chain length?

14/40 will give you a 2.86 ratio versus 3.31 for a 13/43 sprocket combo. You will get more acceleration and lower top speed. How much of each...I don't know but that big of a jump will be noticeable. Chain question...maybe, maybe not. Change sprockets and then try to adjust chain.

We need to race one more time before you change sprockets. So many people have asked me how the two compare since there are not a lot of comparisons out there or videos. I'm going to Go Pro another drag race or two and upload it so people can see.

I'm not doing it to compete with your bike. I notice that when I ride off road I run the crap out of 1st gear because my bike tends to bog down in second and loses momentum. I need to have more throttle response out of the corners and feel this is a great way to do it. I was comparing the two bikes. I believe your bike is 13/43. The CRF 250l is currently 14/40. I've heard of people just changing the front so it is 13/40 this way you keep the top speeds up. I've looked into it. I'm probably going to go 13/42 this seems like a good fit and a cheap fix too. Is this an easy process to change these out? Maybe we can do a before and after to see how much it improved the performance off the line.

No, I know that. I just get a lot of inquiries on comparison stock for stock. I already know we compared them. I just want to film it so I can upload it for other people before you mod your sprockets. We could do an after video too.

Doubtful. The amp is a PA type amp. 1200 watts bridged. With an elaborate pre-amp set-up, it would blow the siding off a house, but rarely would that be an appropriate rig.
